The GM Authority Take
Sales of the GMC Terrain started the year rebounding from the previous quarter and matched the segment average year over year.
We expect future sales to get a boost from the upcoming all-new Terrain. But GM’s challenge remains, as it does for everything it builds, producing enough units of GMC’s entry-level crossover to meet demand.
About GMC Terrain
The 2024 GMC Terrain arrives with minimal changes, specifically losing two paint colors, while the GMC Pro Safety Plus package is now standard on the AT4 trim level and remains standard on the Denali trim and optional on the SLE and SLT trims.
Here is everything new and different for the 2024 GMC Terrain.
The 2025 GMC Terrain is on the way as a next-generation model, set to arrive later this year. Here’s what we know and expect regarding the 2025 Terrain. GM Authority has learned that production of the third-generation Terrain at the GM San Luis Potosà plant in Mexico has been pushed back a few months to October 14th.
Exclusive details of the 2025 GMC Terrain interior reveal a cockpit design similar to that of the all-new 2024 GMC Acadia, confirmed by photos of the next-gen Terrain interior spied for the first time.

Comment
It’s a great car, especially in the city. I was able to rent it recently and it handled everything like a champ. Even parallel parking was a breeze.
