GMC Hummer EV sales increased in the United States during the fourth quarter of 2023 with 2,028 total deliveries, comprised of:

While GMC Hummer EV sales continued to grow during the fourth quarter of 2023, the duo still has a lot of ground to cover to catch up to Rivian, which continues to command this space. The 825 deliveries of the Hummer EV Pickup were a quarter of the Rivian R1T’s 3,400, while the Hummer EV SUV moved 1,203 units, a fifth of the 6,100 Rivian R1S sales.

This very small and nascent speciality space comprised of off-road-focused electric pickups and SUVs grew 190 percent, giving GM a cumulative 17 percent segment share, with Rivian commanding the rest.
GM’s other EVs currently on sale are the Cadillac Lyriq crossover along with four models from Chevy, namely the Silverado EV Work Truck (WT) and Blazer EV crossover as well as the Bolt EV and Bolt EUV crossovers (though production the Bolts is officially over).

TOTAL | +18.68% | 19,305 | 16,266 | +92.82% | 75,386 | 39,096 |
During Q4 2023, the Bolt EV and EUV accounted for 3,789 and 8,762 deliveries, respectively, as newcomers Blazer EV and Silverado EV moved 463 units and 443 units, repectively. The Lyriq posted 3,820 deliveries.
GMC Hummer EV Pickup sales remained steady compared to last quarter while sales of the SUV picked up substantially. While it still far outsells GMC’s Hummer EV duo, which moved over 2K units during Q4 2023, Rivian is reportedly losing $33K per vehicle sold and burns through about $1 billion of its cash reserves each quarter.
The General expects the Hummer EV SUV variant to account for roughly 60 percent of total Hummer EV sales, and the Pickup variant to make up the remaining 40 percent. Incidentally, that’s (almost) exactly the ratio seen during the fourth quarter.
Production of the 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup began this past June, with the nameplate introducing a handful of important changes and updates over the preceding 2023 model. That includes the launch of two entry-level trim levels – the 2X and 2. They will join the range-topping Edition 1 and 3X trims to round out the all-electric Hummer off-road pickup truck lineup for the 2024 model year.
Another important update for the 2024 Hummer EV Pickup is the introduction of the new Omega Edition, a limited-run variant that includes a unique matte paint finish, unique wheels, and a few other unique accents.
Additionally, for 2024 the Pickup offers a new LPO-level or dealer-installed optional Lifestyle Adventure Package that provides camping capabilities for off-roaders and other outdoor enthusiasts. A step up from that is a the new EarthCruiser, a variant of the Pickup designed to tackle overlanding adventures in zero-emission style.
The 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV launched with the Edition 1. “About 2,500” units of the Edition 1 will be built, featuring standard 22-inch premium wheels, assist steps, and floor liners, as well as all-wheel-steering. Motivation is sourced from a three-motor drivetrain and 20-module battery pack, providing a maximum 830 horsepower and more than 300 miles between charges. It comes with an exclusive Moonshot Green Matte paint highlighted by complementary black and silver trim bits to provide a splash of custom flair to the special edition of the SUV’s inaugural year.
The Edition 1 join the 3X trim to round out the all-electric Hummer off-road SUV for the 2024 model year.
The 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV also gets the new Omega Edition, like the Pickup. Additionally the SUV receives a new Bronze Beadlock Package, which includes a few bits and pieces to enhance the off-roader’s capabilities, as well as complementary styling bits to go with the theme, plus a new Cargo Utility Package as an LPO add-on. And an Extreme Off-Road Package will be available for the Hummer SUV EV2X and EV3X trim levels, in addition to the range-topping GMC Hummer EV SUV Edition 1.
Finally, the 2024 Hummer EV SUV gets a power-operated swing gate, setting it apart from the Pickup, which incorporates the manually-operated MultiPro tailgate with six functional load/access features and EZ Lift operation.
Both Hummer EV models ride on the GM BT1 platform, powered by Ultium Batteries and Ultium Drive motors. A different variant of the same architecture underpins the Chevy Silverado EV and upcoming GMC Sierra EV.
Horsepower and grip take the win.

Gm called me a few weeks ago on a Friday night to see if I was still interested in a hummer truck. I told her no. She asked why. I find it interesting that they are calling people that put deposits down years ago to see if we are still wanting one.
Two years ago I put down a deposit on a Silverado EV...
If GM doesn't get their act together eventually I will buy something else, but for now I am not in a big hurry.
Ultium will be judged as one of GM's biggest failure. Overweight, complicated, unreliable, and unproducible. GM bet big and blew it completely on all fronts with Ultium.
So, there is no demand for this 10,000+ lbs. road destroyer, there is no way this 10,000+ road destroyer can be profitable despite its $100,000+ sticker price. I hope sales continue to decline.
i dont know.. is this good or bad.
when the h2 came out in the 2000s it flooded the market; i still see plenty of those.
h3 sold well too but i never see those anymore. must have all been scrapped.
how many did GM want to sell of these. 2k units seems like decent number considering the only point of buying one is to buy one
Let us be honest this has to be the worst-selling vehicle in GM history. There is no point to the Hummer EV.
