The GM Authority Take

Chevrolet Brazil sales during November were stable, seeing an ever-so-minor decrease on a year-over-year basis. Though the result leaves Chevrolet’s year-on-year volume at the same level, it does represent a significant decline compared to the 32,274 units sold in October, which was the marque’s best record thus far this year.

During November, most Chevrolet Brazil models suffered notable drops in sales, with only two nameplates posting improvements in their records. Setting the tone for the brand overall, the Bow Tie’s best-selling Chevy Onix saw a slight decrease during the month, with a volume quite similar to that recorded in November 2022, managing to maintain positive figures year-to-date. For its part, the Chevy Tracker stumbled once again with a drop of more than 1,300 units year-over-year.

The all-new Chevy Montana stemmed the general decline across the Chevy portfolio, posting a massive six-digit increase and establishing itself as one of the fastest-growing models in the country. However, the compact pickup saw its monthly sales volume decrease once again as it fails to stand out in a highly competitive segment in the Brazilian market.
