Representing the third model year of Big Red’s all-electric supertruck, the 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup is highlighted by a few notable changes and the addition of several packages, including the Lifestyle Adventure Package. Now, GM Authority has learned that this option is currently unavailable to be ordered on the 2024 Hummer EV Pickup.
The LPO, or dealer-installed, Lifestyle Adventure Package (RPO code PCL) is unavailable to order right now for the 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup, which includes the following (relevant RPO code in parenthesis):
- High Country 80-inch Premium Tent by Freespirit Recreation, LPO (SD1)
- Elevate Telescoping Rack by Advantage (SL7)
- Roof Cross Rail Package, LPO (VQQ)
It’s worth noting that this package typically costs $5,595, and was offered on all trim levels of the supertruck. However, it was unable to be optioned in conjunction with the Off-Road Readiness Package, LPO (RPO code PCH).
As a reminder, the 2024 model year also saw the introduction of the 2 and 2X trim levels, which include a bevy of features and technologies, including GM Ultium battery tech. Positioned below the 3X trim level, the 2 and 2X trims are both equipped with a two-motor powertrain rated at 570 horsepower, with one GM Ultium Drive motor mounted on the front axle, and a second motor mounted on the rear axle. However, production of the base 2 trim level hasn’t started yet.
Another noteworthy update for the 2024 model year is the introduction of the Omega Edition. This new limited-run variant features a unique matte paint finish, special wheels, and a few noteworthy pieces.
Under the skin, both variants of the GMC Hummer EV – which include the Hummer EV Pickup and Hummer EV SUV – ride on the wide-body variant of the GM BT1 platform, while production takes place at the GM Factory Zero plant in Michigan.

Sad thing is, IMHO, it appears nobody at GM, the Brand or Dealers are really concerned or reasonably care.
