The GMC Hummer EV Pickup is a battery-powered full-size pickup truck. Though the electric model is all-new, it does mark the fourth-generation of the Hummer nameplate, though the model is branded as a GMC vehicle and is sold at GMC dealerships, rather than being a standalone brand like Hummer was previously.
The full-size pickup truck, which is roughly the size of a GMC Sierra 1500, is sold alongside a full-size SUV variant, the GMC Hummer EV SUV.

Overview
The Hummer EV Pickup offers supercar-like performance, capability, and technology. According to GM, the GMC Hummer EV will be offered with one, two or three electric motors – depending on model. The range-topping model will have an output of over 1,000 horsepower and 11,500 pound-feet of torque (explained here).
The Hummer EV rides on GM’s BT1 platform, an architecture developed specifically for battery electric vehicles.
The latest Ultium battery and Ultium Drive technology enables the electric Pickup to sprint from zero to sixty in about three-seconds flat, or a half-second quicker than its SUV counterpart. On top of that, the Hummer EV Pickup delivers incredible on- and off-road performance, with features like CrabWalk mode.

EV2X | $89,995 |
EV3X | $99,995 |
Edition 1 with Extreme Off-Road Package | $112,595 |
To note, reservations for the Hummer EV SUV Edition 1 and Hummer EV Edition 1 pickup are both currently full. Otherwise, the very first units of the GMC Hummer EV pickup are expected begin to arrive at dealers in the fall of 2021 as 2022 model year vehicles. The SUV, on the other hand, will arrive about a year later.
For now, we expect the models to only available in North America and perhaps in the Middle East – the markets where GMC currently does business. However, it’s worth noting that GM could choose to expand the footprint of the GMC brand outside of those markets, if it so chooses, and the GMC Hummer EV models present a solid opportunity to do so.

As GM Authority was first to report, it’s possible that GM might offer a military variant of the GMC Hummer EV, if such a need were to arise from the U.S. department of defense. If such a model were to be built, it would be offered alongside the GM Defense Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV), which may soon have an electrified variant of its own, the GM E-ISV (Electric Infantry Squad Vehicle).
