I honestly don’t know how the poor Malibu even got that many sales. Zero advertising. Zero promotion. Zero lack of interest by the dealers to stock them or the lazy sales people to sell them. For the past 2 to 3 months, you can barely find a Malibu on any dealer lots at least in southern California. The dealers that do have them only have 3 or 4 or up to 7 if lucky.
And yet, that same poor Malibu was the 4th best selling vehicle in the entire GM line! Only beat out by the Silverado, Sierra and Equinox. In fact, the Malibu alone was only 17K units behind the entire Cadillac line and 37K units behind the entire Buick line. Just imagine what could have been if………………………GM cared.
Imagine if they put a 2.5 turbo in it called it the Chevelle and sold it for 46k- there would be lines 2 miles long to get one.
malibu? rentals. thats why. if we look at the charts, GM is actually getting hammered hard here.
hoe/burb are down hard. soon the escalade will follow as everybody that wants one will have bought one (im sure i said that a few weeks ago)
trucks are doing bad considering all the discounts on those atm.
they are only scraping by overall as a company because of cute low level buick models they just pumped out. this wont last.
chevrolet is down, cadillac is down, gmc is down. this is a bad picture.
Great job. GM sales team accomplished an increase in fourth quarter sales even with months of September and October (UAW) strike.
I still don’t understand how the manufacturers are so flush with cash, with low sales numbers, and all them so called planet saving electric’s sitting around, that aren’t selling. Hmmm, must be taxpayers money keeping them afloat with cash, even though we don’t have it to give. Yet we’re still expected to buy those so called planet saving vehicles
+300,000 units over last year.. barely any discounts until Dec23/Jan 24. Hmmmm I do not know-Strike/labor deal came in under budget, EV costs dropped immensely..lots of reasons.
All gas-powered Cadillac sales are down except for the Escalde of course. Talking about how people don’t want EVs
