Comments
Imagine how many Equinox, Terrain , Trailblazers, Encore GX that could be sold if Canadian Dealers had actual inventory on their lots .
Only hope the Colorado will have inventory as they launch the 2023 , My best hope will be to order a 2024 this summer and hopefully get the options i would like!
still will wait 6 months after the order is placed !
If you want a GM truck in Canada the Dealer lots are full ,but SUV’s and Cars are really meager and hard to find maybe 3 to 5 at most dealers in Ontario Canada !
nice to see GM making a bit of come back after investing more in canada, gm oshawa.hyundai and kia dont build anything here yet they are some of our best dealer! Canadians need to support companies that invest here!
Hyundai and KIA pay lots on their North American/Canadian advertising and marketing. Realize how reviewers on sites like YouTube try to force feed all of their products to us but never mention the recalls or fires they experience. It’s nothing but POSITIVE press for them, at least that’s the new brand perception they’ve purchased despite reality and it really helps them to stay afloat. It’s all about brand perception and getting as much as you can for as cheap as you can with their audience. Those buyers couldn’t care less where Hyundai/KIA invests.
The only reason they have a plant in Georgia, USA is to benefit from tax credits. They clearly are heavily inspired by General Motors to mimic their twin brand philosophy and are even t biting off their designs and signature thin vertical LED styling, which many brands are doing more now.
Good to see Buick brand sales skyrocket upward as much as they did. It would be great if that could portend the same with Buick’s USA numbers.
Does it count as a car sold if you ordered a 2023 Bolt EUV back in mid-2022, but it still hasn’t arrived, and might not arrive until late in 2023 or even 2024. What year and month does GM count the sale?
No. Sales are deliveries, meaning the vehicles that were delivered to customers by dealers during the quarter or month in question.
What you have is an order. Orders are not counted as sales.
