This inconvenience is believed to be due to an anomaly in the truck’s software. As such, certified GM technicians are instructed to inspect affected vehicles and update the ECM / TCM with GM’s latest calibration. After this procedure is completed, techs are to perform a barometric pressure reset in GDS2.

Notably, it should take roughly 30 minutes to complete this fix. In addition, this Service Bulletin covers pickups across the globe, including North America, the Middle East, Israel, Palestine, and Australia / New Zealand.
