All interior colorways are included in the price of the vehicle. As GM Authority previously highlighted, pricing for the 2025 Chevy Trax has risen compared to the 2024 Chevy Trax by either $200 or $400, depending on the specific trim level. At the bottom of the range is the entry-level 1LS with a starting MSRP of $21,495, while the range-topping 2RS and Activ carry a starting price of $25,395. A $1,095 destination freight charge is included in these prices, while the official configurator for the model is currently live.

The 2025 Trax, like its 2024 model-year predecessor, carries over increased length and width compared to the first-gen crossover, which expands rear cargo volume by 12 percent and gives 3 inches of additional legroom to rear-seat passengers. The overhauled cabin features a standard 8-inch infotainment screen for entry-level trims, while an 11-inch screen is equipped higher in the range.

Motivation is provided exclusively by a new flex-fuel capable version of the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine, tagged with RPO code LBP. Power generation remains the same as the previous model year with the powerplant rated at 137 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 162 pound-feet of torque at 2,500 rpm. The drivetrain sends power to the front wheels only.

The 2025 Chevy Trax uses the same GM VSS-F vehicle set found in the 2024 model for structure. Start of regular production (SORP) was scheduled for March 4th, 2024, and is now under way at the GM Changwon plant in South Korea.

    1. Not very imaginative interior options. However, it is the theme of other car makers as well. Boring.

  2. Black, black, black and more black. Judas Priest gm cut us some slack. We want color.

  3. It’s nice that you can get the Active without that horrible yellow interior trim now. The Active looks the best on the exterior, but the RS has the nicest interior IMO.

  4. They keep cutting options or choices for economies of scale, yet the MSRP has yet to go down to reflect savings to the consumer.
