About Buick Envision
GM officially unveiled the refreshed 2024 Buick Envision, which features an updated exterior and a new interior, as well as a 30-inch diagonal infotainment screen and more standard safety features.
The 2024 Buick Envision lineup now includes Preferred, Sport Touring (ST), and Avenir trim levels. A first for the nameplate, ST is a new standalone trim that replaces the mid-tier Essence trim and the Sport Touring Package previously offered on Preferred and Essence trims. However, the ST trim does not offer any performance upgrades.
While the 2024 Envision won’t offer Super Cruise after all due to unspecified constraints, the Technology Package I will now be included as standard on all 2024 Envision trim levels. This package features the Bose Premium nine-speaker audio system and a Head-Up Display. Additionally, the 2024 Envision does offer many new standard safety features.
The 2024 Envision loses two paint colors, Rich Garnet Metallic and Sapphire Metallic, replaced by Calypso Blue Metallic and Smokey Amethyst Metallic. Check out the 2024 Envision paint colors and interior colors, along with three wheels available, each tied to a respective trim level.
For the first time, the 2024 Buick Envision offers standard all-wheel drive in the U.S. Specifically, it’s a twin-clutch AWD system. The turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY engine will remain the sole powertrain available in the 2024 Envision.
Consequently, the pricing uncovered for the 2024 Buick Envision shows an increase across the board. The Preferred trim starts at $37,295, ST begins at $39,795, and Avenir starts at $48,395. All of these prices include the destination freight charge (DFC), which remains at $1,395. Check out 2024 Envision pricing with options and packages.
The 2024 Buick Envision will get a short model year, with production of the 2025 Envision scheduled to start on August 5th at the GM China SAIC-GM Jinqiao South plant shortly after the launch of the U.S.-spec 2024 model year.

One local dealer is still trying to peddle its ’23 inventory of Envisions for $7500 off. I laugh every time.
Location of Final Assembly: China <— Is this what is turning people away? Although this doesn’t seem to bother Lincoln owners but maybe its why Polestar sales are doing so badly.
I’ll take one if they have one in Avenir trim and AWD. I won’t pass up a nicely discounted Buick with no miles as a daily commuter.
The Envision is a great vehicle with outstanding build quality! The Essence trim is the sweet spot for a very nicely equipped car. Too bad it’s been deleted… because the Avenir trim is outrageously overpriced.
Here too there are still new 2023’s in dealer inventory for sale. The car is already 2 years old! And then GM decided to introduce the 2024 Envision so late in the model year when it should have been a 2025! If you can’t get a 2023 or 2024 for at least 10K$ off window, then I’d walk away. Perhaps, Buick should be offering some killer lease deals on all the 2023 and 2024 Envisions, which they clearly aren’t. Well, good luck with depreciation on these cars.
I test drove a 2023 ST AWD with tech and sport packages. If I needed a car I would have got it. It was so beautiful.
It’s almost as if these were suffering from some issue, in transit, that was keeping them from getting to the dealers. Hmmmm….
I’d like to know the story behind the 2024 Envision. The local dealer here just got some in that were built in December of 2023. They are filthy with built up dirt like they were sitting somewhere for the last 7 months. Was there a build quality issue? Dispute with the Chinese? Tariff issues? Inquiring minds want to know. I think the Preferred trim is a bargain for all the equipment you get, especially with the comfort/convenience pack.
Yes tariff issue until June 6
What do you expect when the vehicle is built half a world away with all foreign parts?
These were suffering from transmissions issues. Leaking fluid upon arrival. Sit for months waiting on a fix. Not sure why they just didn’t halt production on these until they got everything sorted out from the previous model year.
Hmmmm, can’t get rid of these Chinese turds. Huh, whooda thunk. Mary Barra is Roger Smith in a pantsuit!
