Introducing a mid-cycle refresh for the latest model year, the 2024 Buick Envision will feature updated exterior styling, a revised cabin, and a plethora of standard safety features. There are a lot of new goodies and features to fiddle around with, so for prospective buyers who are looking to explore all the available options, the 2024 Envision‘s online configurator is now live and ready for tweaking.
Right off the bat, all three of the Tri-Shield brand crossover’s trim levels are ready for exploring, including the Preferred, Sport Touring (ST), and Avenir. From there, each one can be configured with its own set of unique bits and bobs, outside of the powertrain of course. Happy trails!
As a reminder, the 2024 Buick Envision will be getting a very short model year, as the 2025 Envision is currently scheduled to kick off production at the GM-SAIC Jinqiao Plant in China just a few months after the 2024 model year arrives in dealerships.
In regard to the mid-cycle refresh itself, the exterior styling draws design cues from the Buick Wildcat EV concept, which has been seen across the Tri-Shield brand’s lineup. This translates to a revised front fascia with a new grille and dual-tier headlamps, along with a refreshed rear fascia that features a new bumper and revised taillamps.
Complementing the outside, the interior will be highlighted by an all-new 30-inch diagonal panel that incorporates the gauge cluster and the infotainment system touchscreen, offering customizability for navigation, vehicle information, audio, and much more. Some standard safety technologies include Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian and Bicycle Braking, and Rear Cross Traffic Braking. Notably, GM Super Cruise will not be offered.
Under the hood lies the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, rated at 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, while output is routed to the standard AWD drivetrain via the GM nine-speed automatic transmission.
As for structure, the Envision rides on the GM E2 platform, while production of the 2024 model year is well under way. Regarding pricing info, the entry-level 2024 Envision Preferred boasts a starting MSRP of $37,295.

Glad the 2024 configurator is live 6 and half months into the calendar year. Is this story right?
Yes, I’ve been checking the Buick website for the last few weeks to see what color combinations would be available on each trim and just until the last few days ago there was no ‘build your own’ feature available yet.
Well the launch of the faclifted 2nd gen Envision was heavily delayed due to god knows what the hell is going on over in China.
Why no green color? All other GM brands have a green!
Yeah, a green shade would have been cool.
So when can we get the 2025 configurator…?
2025 configurator will be EXACTLY the same.
I have one on Factory Order but I am getting very concerned with the China Factor. Will GM still be in China in a few years? What happens to us vehicle owners if everything from China is disallowed? Will replacement parts be available?
So should I be worried?
I ordered a 24 in November when still no word in march couldnt wait any longer with no car, i cancelled and bought a Nissan
