Along with changes to the palette of 2024 Buick Envision colors, the upcoming summertime launch of the Tri-Shield crossover’s latest model year will ushering in a mid-cycle refresh including significant exterior and interior updates along with a standard AWD drivetrain across all trims.
Changes to the lineup of 2024 Buick Envision colors include the retirement of two exterior paints, Rich Garnet Metallic (color code G4Q) and Sapphire Metallic (color code GGH), and their indirect replacement by Calypso Blue Metallic (color code GZC) and Smokey Amethyst Metallic (color code G88), leading to the 2024 availability of the seven hues shown here:
Of the six colors available on the Preferred and Sport Touring trims, one – Summit White (color code GAZ) – is offered as a no-charge option, while the rest are priced at $495 or $1,095.
Meanwhile, the range-topping Avenir trim gets five no-charge color choices and a single extra-charge paint, White Frost Tricoat, priced at $600. The table below provides full details of the 2024 Buick Envision colors:
Paint Color | Color Code | Cost (Preferred/ST) | Cost (Avenir) | Preferred | Sport Touring | Avenir |

Notably, however, one of the 2024 Buick Envision colors is no longer available to order, specifically Cinnabar Metallic (color code GEJ). This paint was introduced in 2021 and has been built out since the week of May 27th, 2024. Cinnabar Metallic won’t return for the 2025 model year.
The 2024 Buick Envision is to have an extremely short model year before its 2025 successor starts production. As first revealed by GM Authority, pricing for the 2024 Buick Envision ranges from a starting MSRP of $37,295 for the entry-level preferred trim to $48,395 for the Avenir trim level. A $1,395 destination freight charge is included in these prices.
While the 2024 Envision won’t get the semi-autonomous GM Super Cruise driver assist system, it does offer an impressive list of standard safety features. Some that are new for the model year include Automatic Emergency Braking, IntelliBeam headlamps with auto high beams, and Front Pedestrian Braking. The heavily overhauled interior will also get four new colorways.
Motivation is supplied by a single powerplant option,  the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine developing 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This is paired with the GM nine-speed automatic transmission.
The Buick Envision uses the GM E2 platform for structure under the body panels, with production taking place at the GM-SAIC Jinqiao Plant in Shanghai, China.

Blue is a staple color so why only on the Avenir? Stupid.
But, what’s more stupid are the upcharges for everything other than basic white. More GM bad decision making (and gouging).
Now!! I love me some buick ,because I still got my buick lacrosse. But all these uncharges on paint and other stuff too!! GENERAL MOTORS….. And this suv still doesn’t have automatic fold mirrors. Certain thins make this car luxury not just the looks. ya’ll need to remove that (CEO) lady. I will not be buying this car until after 2 years later . These prices are ridiculous. GM is all over the place and just throwing stuff out.
Nice choices of colors, especially the cinnabar metallic. Seems like the good colors are always hard to find though. What I see on lots are usually white or grey.
Sadly, Cinnabar Metallic is not available. But, I have seen Smokey Amethyst and it’s gorgeous.
Why make the best color the rarest! Duuumb!!
Free advertising of awesome! Street Cred!
Cinnabar-bar cinnabar-bar let the man roll through, let the man roll through!
GREEN……..please!
The biggest thing to me, is it looks more like an updated Ford Escape, with Buick badging, no matter the color!
Craig I thought that two until I saw the two on the road the Envision looks much different then the escape and no it does not look like a Toyota either the Toyota grills are much bigger. Anyway I like it beter in person then in these pictures that do it justice at all.
I have seen it in person also, still hate it, doesn’t evoke anything BUICK to me beyond badge. All, 3 Buick models look like triplets in 3 different sizes and definitely overpriced! Also, spell my name correctly in responding please. Don’t just assume, it was misspelled!
Sorry about about your name that was spell check Creig. Don’t worry GM will probably change it in a few years anyway. And toe everything is overpriced right now with the way the economy is.
When the heck do we expect the 24 and 25 be released? Been waiting.
Does the 24 envision 9 speed transmission get into nineth gear at highway speeds? My 23 envision stays in 8th gear. Don’t understand why have a nine speed transmission and only use th first 8 gears.
When will the new 2025 Envision come available? and will there be any new colors for the 2025 Model? Also I drove a 2022 Envision and just loved the ride it gave, so smooth — do the new models perform in a similar manner or were there changes to the areas that might make the ride less attractive?
