  1. I guess what I really want is an 87 octane Cadillac Lyric 🙂

    1. Fine. Post that in a Cadillac Lyriq thread, not one about the Buick Envision.

  2. Now that AWD is standard, I have no further interest in this vehicle. Automakers need to be taught a lesson. This is just more price gouging. I’m surprised they didn’t drop the Preferred trim level as well.

    1. All wheel drive enhances traction control. If one wheel lose traction, you have three wheels working. This is a benefit in wintry conditions. Front wheel drive has advantages also like cost, fuel economy and handling under normal conditions. I’m surprised the Essence was discontinued.

      1. A good traction control system on FWD eliminates a lot of slippery driving issues.

  3. Buick/Cadillac in my area have more of these in stock than any other model. Virtually no Cadillac SUV’s. Guess gm workers in China didn’t go on strike.

    1. The Envision is a well made, well designed collaboration. China and the US are number one trading partners. The bigger picture is how these two economies can work together for the betterment of the world.

  5. What would be interesting to find out is that prior to the Chip Shortage; you could get non- Avenir Envisions with the Technology II package and that included Adaptive Cruise Control. Now, if you buy a 2023 Envision and want adaptive cruise control you need to buy the Avenir. I believe that this option should no longer be restricted to the Avenir model.

  6. AWD Envisions have the ability to easily switch to 2WD to save on gas. That is the main why I get these type vehicles.
