The roof rack cross rails (RPO code VLL) are newly available as an LPO or dealer-installed option that can be ordered in conjunction with the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer rather than being a dealer accessory only, GM Authority has learned.
However, the roof rail cross bars are also currently unavailable to order on the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer, meaning that this option now exists, but is under constraint at the current time.
When available, the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer roof rack cross rails are normally priced at an additional $425. The rails are designed to attach using simple tools and conveniently attach to the roof-mounted side rails, enhancing the Trailblazer’s cargo utility and flexibility. The cross rails can be readily removed for storage when the vehicle’s owner does not need them.
GM first made the roof rack cross rails available for the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer, with an initial price of $255. The General made the rails in response to numerous complaints from Trailblazer owners, who wanted additional rooftop support for cargo, bikes, watersport equipment, and winter sport equipment.
Several other 2024 Chevy Trailblazer accessories and options are also currently unavailable to order. These include the dealer-installed  Trailering Package (RPO code PDE) which features a trailer hitch, hitch harness, and hitch bezel, as well as the Blackout Package (RPO code PDB), a $795 option including black Bow Ties and nameplate.
As a reminder, the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer features a mid-cycle refresh with a reworked exterior and other changes. Standard motivation is provided by the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine developing 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, as standard.
An additional optional engine choice is the turbocharged 1.3L I3 L3T engine cranking out 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. Units propelled by the LIH engine plus those with the L3T engine and FWD utilize a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), while 1.3L engines with optional AWD pair with the GM nine-speed automatic transmission.
Under the body panels, the 2024 Trailblazer rides on the GM VSS-F vehicle set, while production for the North American market kicked off in July 2023 at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea.
The online configurator is currently live for buyers who want to try out various 2024 Chevy Trailblazer configurations before purchase. Pricing starts at $24,395 for the LS trim, $25,595 for the LT trim, $28,395 for the RS trim, and $28,395 for the range-topping Activ.

Just wondering, what is the point in having a “roof rack” without the cross rails? and can you get a Trailblazer “without” a roof rack. Seems that would be the most practical option.
GM , cut, cut cut. No wonder Kia and toyoto are both out selling all GM vehicles.
More constraint crapola and that price is beyond outrageous. The “Big 3” are about to get what’s overdue. UAW strike and bankruptcies. Joe to the rescue if he still has a mind, debatable.
Electric, electric, electric – gotta dump everything for electric. Roof rack with no rail??? GM is off the rails also. Pity the poor people trying to get out of Fla with only electric cars…. gees.. and they burn in water…
$425 for 2 bars. After market should be a little cheaper. Which really should come with the crossbars. Nickel and dime
