2024 Chevy Trailblazer Blackout Package Currently Unavailable To Order

For the new model year, the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer features a mid-cycle refresh that’s highlighted by the introduction of updates to the exterior design and interior appointments. Now, the 2024 Trailblazer‘s Blackout Package is unavailable to order for the time being.

Normally a $795 option on LS and LT trim levels, the Blackout Package, LPO (RPO code PDB) is currently unavailable to be ordered on the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer, and includes (relevant RPO code in parenthesis):

  • Front and rear Black Bow Tie emblems, LPO (SFZ)
  • Black nameplate, LPO (RIN)

As of the time of this writing, it’s unknown when this package will become available again. It’s worth noting that the Blackout Package was recently introduced on the 2024 Chevy Trax as well.

As a reminder, the trim lineup of the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer includes LS, LT, RS, and Activ, each of which feature subtle differences to help distinguish between them. Pricing starts at $24,395 for the LS, $25,595 for the LT, $28,395 for the RS, and $28,395 for the Activ.

Under the hood, the 2024 Trailblazer is powered by the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine, rated at 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, as standard. Optional is the turbocharged 1.3L I3 L3T engine, rated at 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. Units equipped with the LIH engine, as well as units with the L3T engine and FWD, are mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), while 1.3L engines with optional AWD are mated to the GM nine-speed automatic transmission.

In regard to structure, the 2024 Trailblazer rides on the GM VSS-F vehicle set, while production for the North American market kicked off in July 2023 at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea. The online configurator is currently active for any consumers who wish to configure their Bow Tie subcompact crossover as they wish.

    1. I prefer white letter tires like the BF Goodrich Radial T/A’s or the Firestone Firehawks. Those looked good with reverse offset Crager S/S or Keystone Classic rims.
