Here Is The Refreshed 2024 Chevy Trailblazer

GM just pulled the sheets on the fully refreshed 2024 Chevy Trailblazer, showing off brand-new styling, an overhauled interior, new standard features, and more for the small crossover.

Outside, we find a new look highlighted by thinner upper lighting signatures and a new grille treatment. The 2024 Chevy Trailblazer trim level lineup includes LS, LT, Activ, and RS, each of which includes its own front fascia, exterior lighting, and grille design. The RS, for example, gets black exterior trim, a mesh grille design, and dual exhaust outlets with chrome tips.

The wheel designs are also unique between the different trims, with RS models now rocking 19-inch rollers, rather than 18-inch wheels as before. Activ and RS trims offer a two-tone roof option. New exterior colors were also added to the list, including Copper Harbor Metallic and Cacti Green.

Inside, we find an overhauled cabin headlined by a new 11-inch diagonal center display as standard, which pairs with an 8-inch diagonal Driver Information Center. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are onboard, while LT, Activ, and RS trims offer wireless phone charging. Standard safety features include Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Following Distance Indicator, and Forward Collision Alert. Adaptive Cruise Control is optional.

As for cargo capacity, the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer includes a standard fold-flat front passenger seat that can accommodate objects up to 8.5 feet long, with upwards of 54.4 cubic feet of cargo room in total. A two-tier storage system adds flexibility as well.

Under the hood, the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer runs a familiar powertrain lineup, with the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine as standard and the turbocharged 1.3L I3 L3T gasoline engine as optional. Models equipped with the 1.2L I3 LIH engine, as well as models with the 1.3L I3 L3T and front-wheel drive, connect to a CVT, while 1.3L engines with all-wheel drive connect to the GM 9-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is optional.

Production of the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer will kick off in July, with U.S.-bound models produced at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea. Look for the first units to arrive in dealers in the Fall. Pricing is as follows, which includes a destination freight charge of $1,295:

2024 Chevy Trailblazer Starting MSRPs
Trim Level MSRP
LS FWD $24,395
LT FWD $25,595
Activ FWD $28,395
RS FWD $28,395

  1. Not much has changed on it visually but it still looks good.

    1. New front and rear facia and lighting, side profile is the same, and the front dashboard is completely new.

      1. The lights still look pretty similar to me, especially the rear and the only thing different on the front lights is that the DRLs are slimmer and the headlight housing is a different shape, nothing drastic like the TRAX.

  2. In other markets, it’s sold as the Chevy Seeker with the new version 1.5T which gets a combined city/highway 36.2 US MPG!

Here in the US, we get the miserable 3 cylinder engines which only achieve a pathetic combined 30MPG.

    WHY???

Go ahead and foolishly give this post a thumbs down… because you clearly don’t want better MPG.

    2. Completely different vehicle…. Not the Seeker in other markets.

  3. A good refresh, I knew GM would do something to bring up the Trailblazer to match the new Trax which obviously looks more up to date. Hopefully GM will at least try to make both crossovers available to dealers in sufficient numbers.

  5. I think this is a great refresh. I love the new dash, it looks identical to the new Trax but the materials look a little nicer. I also like the revised front. I bet we see the New Cadillac XT4 in the next few days.

  6. I hate the design of them 24 inch wheels.

  7. This looks slightly better than the old one. It looks great in that blue color. Now, what the heck happened to the Buick Encore GX? That is going from nice looking to stupid looking all while this TB is getting better looking.

As much as I’ve loved Buick over the years, and as much as I wish they could turn things around, this is just more proof to me why Buick is so ready for the kill off. Why buy the Encore that’s worse looking and costs more over this Chevy?

    1. On the nice to stupid:
There’s no accountability anywhere at gm. That’s why even when something is ‘nailed’, it gets the recycle bin. Gm finally had a good looking model, but, apparently, change for the sake of change is the order of the decade. Too bad. It was a good looking car!

    2. Buick is bizarre. We see so many great shapes from them that never make it to the showroom floor.

  8. No Plug. No Sale. Where is the BEV3 based Trailblazer EV and Trax EV?

  9. Buick needs to get back to wood trim and different color leather seats and colored dashboards. Even the Chevy interiors look better and more interesting than the Buicks. This interior and the new Traxs looks better then the refresh of the Buick encore gx and the new envista.

    1. I wish GM would get rid of just one interior color option, BLACK only. I get so tired of black interior. Lets have some interior color options. Lighter the better.
I even have had two vehicles with white interior and would have white again in a second.
Not as hard to keep clean as people think. Not for a work truck though.
There are still a lot of buyers that like colors on exterior and interior.

    2. GM also need to specifically tune Buick engines that are shared with their other brands. The 1.5L turbo 4 in a Buick should be smoother with a higher torque bias so as to encourage brand differentiation awareness to potential customers.

  10. While I’m wanting a higher hp vehicle with more luxury panache as my next vehicle…something about the TB keeps bringing me in. Sporty looks and attractive interior. I may just need to test drive one as it would save me a ton of money over an Envision/XT4/CT4 or 5 that I’ve been leaning towards.

    1. I think those cars you mentioned are nice cars. I would also like a Cadillac or Buick as my next car, though that is likely 4 or 5 years away. I am just waiting for nicer Interiors. Electronics are not luxury to me. Beautiful interiors and exteriors are.

  11. Something with interior color choices other than black would be a great place to start and something better than 1990’s level acceleration would be even better especially on the higher trims. They also need to figure out why these tiny micro motor 3 bangers can’t get better MPG!
