The GM Authority Take

After two consecutive months of sales growth, Cadillac Mexico sales declined in November suffering a considerable decline of 19 percent. Like in past months, GM’s luxury brand couldn’t escape the negative trend of the Mexican market, with the XT5 and the Escalade seeing significant double-digit falls year-over-year.

By contrast, the Cadillac XT4 experienced a significant increase in sales volume during the month, setting a new sales record after completing its first full year on sale in the Mexican market. As such, the 49 units sold represent the best monthly performance that the XT4 has registered in Mexico during its twelve months of begin available in the country. In addition, the 425 units sold in the first 11 months of the year enabled the year-to-date 2019 Cadillac Mexico sales to remain positive.
