Exterior
The 2025 Cadillac Optiq features the sleek look of a fastback combined with the distinct design features of a Cadillac EV.
The all-new rear quarter panel window design of the Optiq features a unique pattern in acoustic laminate glass, paying homage to classic Cadillac styling with the incorporation of the Mondrian crest.
Some of the other new design elements include a vented rear spoiler, fixed-glass roof, Black Crystal Grille, and standard Signature LED Lighting Choreography.
Interior
The 2025 Cadillac Optiq features an all-new cabin with a standard 33-inch diagonal LED infotainment touchscreen. The interior fabric of the Optiq is woven from yarn crafted entirely from recycled materials while it’s PaperWood veneer is a blend of tulip wood and recycled newspaper, creating a sustainable yet unique look.
The SUV offers seating for five passengers and a “Segment best” in cargo capacity and second-row spaciousness.
In-Vehicle Tech
Standard spec includes an 33-inch diagonal LED infotainment touchscreen featuring a volume rotary knob.
A selection of knobs and hard buttons are located below for controlling the HVAC system.
The Optiq offers Google built-in compatibility infotainment experience, featuring Google Maps and Google Assistant. This also includes the standard 19-speaker AKG Audio System with Dolby Atmos.

In China, the Optiq is offered in a front-wheel-drive configuration.
Chassis & Suspension
The chassis and suspension on the 2025 Cadillac Optiq is very similar to that of the Lyriq, which include a 5-link independent suspension with Passive-Plus Premium Dampers. But the wheelbase on the Optiq is approximately 6 inches shorter than the Lyriq, resulting in a more “agile architecture”.
AWD is standard on the 2025 Optiq and includes four different Drive Modes: Tour, Sport, Snow/Ice, and My Mode.
The 2025 Optiq includes 20-inch wheels as standard, but offers 21-inch wheels are optional.
Platform
The 2025 Cadillac Optiq rides on a small variant of the GM BEV3 platform, a skateboard-style electric vehicle architecture utilized by a wide variety of GM EVs. Fittingly, the BEV3 stands for “Battery Electric Vehicle 3”, as it replaces the BEV2 platform.
The Optiq uses Ultium batteries and Ultium Drive motors, which are fully integrated with the BEV3 architecture.
Production
The 2025 Cadillac Optiq is assembled by GM Mexico at the Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico.

Pricing for the 2025 Cadillac Optiq starts at an estimated $54,000 including destination charges, excluding tax, title, license, and dealer fees.
Seating
