New 2025 Corvette Habanero Interior: First Look

With the impending arrival of the 2025 Corvette, America’s sports car is expected to debut a number of updates for the new model year, including a fresh interior colorway. With that in mind, General Motors recently gave a peek at the all-new Habanero interior.

Presented to the public during the 27th Annual Michelin NCM Bash in April 2024, the spicy Habanero interior colorway adds an orange-themed look the Corvette‘s cabin, featuring a two-tone mix with Jet Black on the seats, lower dashboard, door panels and center console. This is the only photo of the new colorway currently available, but it’ll be interesting to see how Habanero pairs with select exterior paint colors, such as Sebring Orange Tintcoat.

It’s worth noting that the Sebring Orange Tintcoat hue is “new” for the 2025 model year, and will be joined by the Hysteria Purple Metallic and Competition Yellow Tintcoat.

In other 2025 Corvette-related paint developments, GM Authority recently reported that the Bow Tie brand’s performance machine will lose a total of seven paint colors, including (relevant color code in parenthesis):

Notably, the decision to drop all these paint shades is likely to simplify the Vette’s color palette.

As a reminder, the 2025 Corvette will be offered in one of four flavors, including the C8 Corvette Stingray and its naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine, rated at 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque in standard form, the C8 Corvette Z06 and its naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 gasoline engine, rated at 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, as well as the C8 Corvette E-Ray and its combination of the aforementioned LT2 engine and a front-mounted electric motor producing a total of 655 horsepower.

In regard to the fourth configuration, the soon-to-debut C8 Corvette ZR1 will feature the twin-turbocharged 5.5L V8 LT7 engine.

Under the skin, all Corvette C8 models ride on the GM Y2 platform, while production takes place at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.

  9. GM seems reluctant to really liven up the paint colors. The new yellow and current red is fine but …… the body style screams Lambo , so why not go for it? Purple, Green, etc.
