2025 Corvette To Introduce Three New Paint Colors

General Motors has announced a trio of new paint colors for the C8 Corvette, slated to launch in conjunction with the upcoming 2025 model year. The new hues include a yellow, a purple, and an orange, and are expected to replace three colors currently available for the 2024 model year. The three new 2025 Corvette colors were announced via Chevy’s social media, with the Bow Tie brand revealing three photos of the mid-engine Vette draped in each of the new hues.

A new purple paint option offered for the 2025 Corvette.

“In addition to these three hot new 2025 colors, peep the sleek new #Z51 spoiler and #Z06 wheel design!” the Chevy social post states.

Of course, the term “new” is applied a bit loosely to some of these colors. Sebring Orange Tintcoat, for example, was previously featured on the 2019 C7 Corvette and the 2020- through 2021-model-year C8. Sebring Orange Tintcoat was eventually replaced by Amplify Orange Tintcoat (paint code GC5).

Competition Yellow Tintcoat is another paint color making a comeback for 2025, tracing its roots back to the C4 Corvette era, at least in name. Looking ahead, Competition Yellow is expected to replace Accelerate Yellow Metallic (paint code GD0) with the launch of the 2025 Corvette.

The introduction of Hysteria Purple Metallic, however, is totally new. It’s unclear which 2024 model-year color Hysteria Purple will replace, but one option may include Cacti Green (paint code GVR). Riptide Blue Metallic may also get cut to make room for Hysteria Purple, especially when considering the fact that Riptide Blue Metallic is currently seeing retirement elsewhere in the GM product portfolio.

The 2025 Corvette was originally anticipated to introduce a number of important changes, one of the most impactful being the debut of a completely overhauled interior. Now, however, it looks like the Vette’s new cabin will in fact debut for the 2026 or 2027 model year, instead.

  1. I kind of wish the stingray got more wheel options, not a huge fan or the current options. This new Z06 wheel would look good on a stingray.

  4. As far as I’m concerned, none of the C8 wheel packages from 2020 on are any thing to brag about that’s why I purchased aftermarket wheels. kind of
it’s sad after spending all that money on the car and to think that was the best they could come up with for wheels.

    1. Yes, finally a true yellow.

      1. I’ve been waiting for them to go back to regular yellow, not the highlighter yellow you see in south beach. I like the yellow because it’s what the factory team has raced for years.
I’m might have to put my order in.

      1. Gold OZ Ultraleggera HLT and they fit perfect and look great on my Elkhart Blue C8.
Ordered from Tire Rack and came balanced and mounted with a new set of tires. Tire Rack delivered them to my home and put them on the car (only $100 extra to do that with a special deal).

  5. Glad to see the return of Competition Yellow!! Did not care for the recent yellow with a greenish tint. The Corvette race cars use Competition Yellow paint and I had a C6 with that color in the past.

As for wheels, there are plenty of custom options once you get your Vette. Just select the black wheel & summer only high-performance wheels when you order and use them for track days. Then select a new custom set with all season tires for your daily driving.

  6. That Sebring Orange (salmon) is absolutely the ugliest color on a beautiful vette ever.

  7. They should bring back Atomic Orange that was available on the C6 in 2007-08. I have a2007 and get complimented on it every where I go.
It is nicer than the Daytona Orange from 2005-06.

  9. How about a power boost for the LT2? The base engine shouldn’t be a dry sump truck engine.

  11. Currently have a C7 Z in Corvette Racing Yellow Tintcoat. If the new yellow is basically the same color with flake in it, they might sell a car.

  13. If you’re a yellow, orange or purple fan this is good news. Confusing to me why the Corvette team keeps pushing colors like orange, yellow which are not top sellers, and adding a gum-ball clown hat color like purple; then to eliminate some classic more popular colors (i.e.., silver flare, and hypersonic grey).
