2020 Cadillac XT4 Changes, Updates, New Features

The 2020 Cadillac XT4 gets the following updates and changes:

Deletion of Atlantic Metallic exterior color
Addition of two new exterior colors:
- Garnet Metallic
- Satin Steel Metallic

“350T” rear tailgate badge replaces “2.0T” engine displacement badge on upper right corner of tailgate
Hands-Free Liftgate now standard on Premium Luxury and Sport models
- For the 2019 model year, it was only available on Premium Luxury and Sport models via the Comfort and Convenience Package (WPC), which was available on its own or included in the Comfort and Technology Preferred Package (PDL) and included:
  - For Premium Luxury models:
    - 8-way power passenger seat adjuster
    - Driver seat massage control
    - Front passenger seat massage control
    - Driver seat 4-way power lumbar control
    - Front passenger seat 4-way power lumbar control
    - Driver and front passenger ventilated seats
    - Requires Cold Weather Package and one of the following interior colors:
      - Jet Black
      - Light Platinum/Jet Black
      - Sedona/Jet Black
  - For Sport models:
    - Leather seating surfaces
    - 8-way power passenger seat adjuster
    - Driver seat massage control
    - Front passenger seat massage control
    - Driver and front passenger ventilated seats
    - Requires Cold Weather Package and one of the following interior colors:
      - Jet Black with Cinnamon accents
      - Light Wheat/Jet Black with Red accents
      - Sedona/Jet Black
- Remains unavailable for base Luxury models

Addition of rotary infotainment controller, which adds jog capability
Addition of Next Generation gear selector with Piano Black accents
- Standard on all 2020 XT4 models
Addition of Bright finish steering wheel buttons for enhanced interior appearance
Bose Centerpoint Surround Sound 13-speaker audio system available as a free-flow option on all models
- For the 2019 model year, it was only available via the Cadillac user experience with embedded navigation

Active Sport Suspension now available with 18-inch wheels
- Required 20-inch wheels for the 2019 model year
Addition of FNC (Ferritic Nitrocarburizing) Duralife rotors to front brakes
- For the 2019 model year FNC Duralife rotors were used with the rear brakes only

Automatic Emergency Braking is now standard on all models
- For the 2019 model year, it was only available for Premium Luxury and Sport models via the Driver Awareness Package, which included:
  - Low Speed Forward Automatic Braking
  - Front Pedestrian Braking
  - Following Distance Indicator
  - Forward Collision Alert
  - Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning
  - IntelliBeam
Front Pedestrian Braking is now standard on all models
- For the 2019 model year, it was only available for Premium Luxury and Sport models via the Driver Awareness Package
Forward Collision Alert is now standard on all models
- For the 2019 model year, it was only available for Premium Luxury and Sport models via the Driver Awareness Package
Safety Alert Seat is now standard on Luxury
- For the 2019 model year, it was only standard on Premium Luxury and Sport models
Rear Pedestrian Alert added to Premium Luxury and Sport models via the available Enhanced Visibility Package
- This feature was not offered for the 2019 model year, and is still not offered for base Luxury models

New underhood engine cover decoration with bright finish
New Off Road mode added to current modes of Tour, AWD and Sport
Addition of Tire Inflator Kit, which is standard on all models
- Spare wheel and Spare tire are now optional on all models
