The Cadillac Escalade-V introduces a new level of performance for the popular luxury SUV nameplate, stuffing in supercharged power with all the trimmings, as well as the traditional Caddy coddling. Now, GM Authority has learned exclusive details regarding the exterior styling of the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V.
According to GM Authority sources, the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V will be available in Dark Emerald Metallic paint when order books open May 19th. As noted previously, GM has confirmed that there will be no reservation program for the Cadillac Escalade-V, and that dealers will instead handle orders for the performance SUV as they normally would.
Regarding the Dark Emerald Metallic paint, this hue is not the same color as the Dark Emerald Frost paint option offered in limited quantities (very limited quantities) for the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing and Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. The big difference is that Dark Emerald Metallic has a metallic finish, whereas Dark Emerald Frost is a matte finish.
Photos of the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V in Dark Emerald Frost are currently unavailable.
Pricing for the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V starts with a base MSRP of $149,990 (includes DFC), as General Motors confirmed earlier this month. Outside, the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V will feature unique styling revisions that will add a new layer of aggression to the SUV, while the interior will feature unique, sporty touches as well. The new high-performance Escalade will also be available in the extended-length ESV body style.
Under the hood, the new Cadillac Escalade-V will cradle the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine, churning out 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque. All that go will reach the pavement through a full-time all-wheel drive system, as fed by the GM 10-speed automatic transmission. Keeping it shiny side up will be Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 and Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, plus exclusive six-piston Brembo front brakes with Edge Red calipers.
Under the skin, the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V will ride on the GM T1 platform, with production taking place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.
