2022 Chevrolet Tahoe Changes, Updates, New Features

The 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe represents the second model year of the fifth generation full-size SUV, which was all-new for 2021. As such, the Tahoe sees a host of changes and updates for the 2022 model year.

Exterior

Deletion of two exterior colors:
- Shadow Gray Metallic
- Graywood Metallic
Addition of three exterior colors:
- Auburn Metallic
- Dark Ash Gray Metallic
- Evergreen Gray Metallic
Deletion of five wheel sets:
- 22-inch 6-spoke Midnight Silver machine-faced aluminum wheels with Chrome inserts (SEW)
- 22-inch Black Gloss wheels with Chrome inserts (SHD)

Addition of 10.2 diagonal Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Premium system with Google built-in, which is available on LT, RST, Z71, Premier, and High Country models.

  - No longer includes 8-inch diagonal multi-color Driver Information Center
Addition of 10-speed automatic transmission(MHS)
- Standard with gas engines, replaces 10-speed automatic transmission (MQC)
- MQC-coded transmission is now paired exclusively with Duramax 3.0L LM2 I6 engines
Advanced Trailering Package now includes Smart Trailer Integration Indicator, which replaces Advanced Trailering System. Package also includes:
- Hitch Guidance with Hitch View
- Trailer brake controller
Hitch Guidance with Hitchview is no longer included with Advanced Trailering Package on LS models
Engine block heater is now available with 5.3L L84 V8 engine and 6.2L L87 V8 engine on all equipment groups, except Z71
- For the 2021 model year, this feature was only available with the Duramax 3.0L LM2 I6 Turbo-Diesel engine
Deletion of Advanced Trailering System, which was available on all models and included:
