The refreshed 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban introduce a broad range of updates and changes, including new styling, an overhauled cabin, new tech features, and a new diesel powerplant. Critically, both refreshed full-sizers debut a number of suspension improvements as well. Now, GM Authority is detailing these changes, as well as providing a broad overview of what they feel like while driving down the road.
The suspension improvements made to the refreshed 2025 Tahoe and Suburban were applied the rear end, with the changes varying depending on the type of suspension equipped. On models equipped with standard coil springs, the suspension setup goes unchanged between the 2024 and 2025 model years. However, for those units of the refreshed Chevy Tahoe and Chevy Suburban equipped with Magnetic Ride Control, the damper tuning was updated. Finally, units equipped with both Magnetic Ride Control and Air Ride Control receive tuning changes to the dampers, as well as new hardware.

Further updates for the 2025-model-year refresh include revised exterior styling with a new front fascia design and C-shaped lighting signatures, lending the SUVs a more truck-like appearance overall. Wheel sizing up to 24 inches in diameter is available, while a few new exterior paint options are offered as well.
Moving into the cabin, the infotainment spec includes a standard 17.7-inch diagonal infotainment screen, which is complemented by an 11-inch diagonal driver information center. Both SUVs will offer the GM Super Cruise semi-autonomous drive assist system after the initial vehicle launch.
Both SUVs ride on the GM T1 platform, while vehicle assembly takes place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas. The powerplant lineup includes the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, and the new-for-2025 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax.
