About the GMC Acadia

This past September, GM unveiled the all-new 2024 GMC Acadia, introducing a wealth of updates and changes over the preceding 2023 model year, including larger dimensions, more tech, and a new turbocharged engine, along with a bunch of new safety features and heated wipers. Critically, the third-generation Acadia will be available in several specific trim levels – base Elevation, off-road-oriented AT4, and range-topping Denali. Additionally, the Elevation trim will exclusively offer a new Black Edition package, and a Denali Reserve package takes the trim to the next level.

For the first time ever, the next-gen 2024 Acadia will offer GM Super Cruise, the automaker’s semi-autonomous driving assist technology, thanks to being equipped with GM’s new Global B electronic architecture. Critically, Super Cruise will be available on the 2024 Acadia Elevation and AT4 trim levels. The all-new Acadia arrives as the very first GMC vehicle to offer Super Cruise on Elevation and AT4 trims and the first to offer Super Cruise on all trim levels.

The 2024 GMC Acadia is motivated by the turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 gasoline engine as the sole powertrain, rated at 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. Output is directed through the GM eight-speed automatic transmission, with all-wheel drive offered as optional on Elevation, Elevation Premium, and Denali. AT4 trims are equipped with a unique Active Torque Control AWD system as standard.

Uncovered pricing shows that the 2024 Acadia starts at $43,995 for the Elevation trim level, $51,395 for the AT4 trim, and $55,695 for Denali. Although the new 2024 Acadia costs more than the 2023 model, it’s also equipped with more standard features that were either previously optional or unavailable. 1. I wonder if the sales are slower due to the Acadias larger size and no engine options.

  2. Nicer driving the previous Acadia with the 3.6 Liter engine.

    1. I like the looks of the new Acadia, but my 2019 with the 6 cylinder drives GREAT and I am cautious about engine noise on new Acadia . All sales are slower, they are on all cars at this time….the Biden economy isn’t as wonderful as he says. Smile.

    2. Have you driven one of the new ones? Because reviews say otherwise. Same HP and a ton more torque makes it a more pleasurable daily driver not needing to rev to keep up with traffic or downshift at the first incline.

  3. I ordered a 2024 Acadia Elevation back on 2/14/2024. I still have not received a date when it is to be built. This order was placed as a sold order. I see all the ones built are setting on dealers lot. If GM wants to kept me as a buyer they should be building my order and not ones to set on a lot. At this time I about to look at Ford for a new ride. I wonder what brain child thinks it is better to have Acadia’s on a lot and not build ones that are sold ? That is the way you loose people that have been a GM for his life.

    1. General Motors has a long history of telling their customers what they are going to buy, and not listening to what their customers want to buy. That includes and not limited to: styling paint and interior colors powertrain and drivetrain options Etc.

      1. The 2024’s that are sitting on the lot are not equipped with the opinions I want so I had to order one. It just piss me off that the dealer adds items to the car to increase their profits. I just wish the engine was a 6 instead of 4.
