The 2024 GMC Acadia introduces all-new generation of three-row crossover, which benefits from increased interior room, new on-board technologies and a long list of standard safety features, all wrapped in a fresh new design. The Acadia also boasts various options and packages, including the new Black Edition.
2024 GMC Acadia variants configured in the Elevation trim level will be available to order with the Black Edition (RPO code WBP) package. This appearance package includes the following (relevant RPO code in parenthesis):
- Black grille
- Black exterior accents
- 22-inch Gloss Black aluminum wheels (RVH)
It’s worth noting that neither the AT4 nor the Denali can be optioned with this package, and that pricing details have yet to be released.
For comparison’s sake, the outgoing GMC Acadia is offered in SLE, SLT, AT4 and Denali trim levels, while the base SLE and SLT are available with the $1,495 Elevation Edition (RPO code WBP) package, which includes the following (relevant RPO code in parenthesis):
- Black grille
- Black exterior accents
- 20-inch aluminum wheels (QGY)
- Black center caps
- 20-inch all-season tires (QNU)
- Gloss Black roof rails (V59)
As a reminder, the 2024 GMC Acadia boasts an 8.4-inch wheelbase stretch, a 10.6-inch increase in overall length, and another 3.2 inches of extra height, making it longer, wider and taller than the current 2023 Acadia, all of which translates to more cabin space.
Speaking of the interior, a 15-inch infotainment screen pairs with a standard 11-inch diagonal driver information center. Additional technological and safety goodies include Google built-in, nine available camera views, Forward Collision Alert, Following Distance Indicator, and Rear Park Assist, among others. The GM Super Cruise autonomous driver assistance system is also offered.
Under the hood, the 2024 Acadia is powered by the turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 gasoline engine, rated by GM at 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, while the GM eight-speed automatic transmission handles the cog swaps.
In regard to structure, the third-generation Acadia moves to the long-wheelbase variant of the GM C1 platform, which now incorporates technologies like the GM Global B electrical architecture. Production will now take place at the GM Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan.

Oh please. Make this black stuff go away already. It’s been around for too long by now.
Nobody is forcing you to buy the car… with an OPTIONAL package…
Black as an accent color is clean and contemporary, and I guarantee it’s here to stay.
lol
The murdered out look is so boring… and makes your nice new car look like crap.
It needs to be toned down for sure. Some black accenting, window trim, grille, badges etc are fine. The entire vehicle with this murdered out look is over the top. Would someone like a 90’s chrome plastered with chrome all over the place such as around the wheel wells, the wheels themselves, the windows, the grille, the rockers? I seriously doubt it. Well the same goes for this all black routine. Enough already!
YAWN!!!! I’m so over the 2016 “Murdered” out look….it’s 2024 everyone.
It’s an option lol why are you guys complaining about something you DONT have to get.
WHEN will the all new body style on the traverise and the arcadia be available in dealerships ????????
It will probably be a few months for the Acadia. Many things have contributed to the delay: the strike, moving the production from TN to MI, and changing the entire vehicle. Supposedly, they aren’t starting production until March. However, that could always be pushed back again.
That’s why I’m ordering a Yukon Denali instead.
Last I heard/read ..it was supposed to be late January..UNLESS the entire vehicle is in”CONSTRAINT”!
Is this some kind of record for late arrival of a model year 2024?
Hope it comes from the factory with it on not dealer installed I work at a small gm dealership and the aftermarket accessories gm has out are absolute garbage
ok where are the images?? where’s the beef? come on.
I love a blacked out vehicle on the exterior, but I do not want a blacked out interior.
When will we get pricing?
I’ve seen the red part of GMC logo, blacked out and the chrome outline painted red….
