The 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing subcompact luxury sedan gets five new exterior paints that were not available for the 2023 model year, consisting of Velocity Red, Cyber Yellow Metallic, Coastal Blue Metallic, Mercury Silver Metallic and Black Diamond Tricoat, while four other colors were removed from the palette. Here’s our first look at the new Mercury Silver color.
Identified by color code GKA and touch-up paint number WA-240K, Mercury Silver Metallic is among the range of ten paint colors offered for the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing, comprised of the following:
- Argent Silver Metallic
- Black Raven
- Midnight Steel Metallic
- Radiant Red Tintcoat
- Summit White
- Black Diamond Tricoat (new for 2024)
- Coastal Blue Metallic (new for 2024)
- Cyber Yellow Metallic (new for 2024)
- Mercury Silver Metallic (new for 2024)
- Velocity Red (new for 2024)
Mercury Silver Metallic carries no extra charge since it is available on the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing only as part of the Arrival Edition (RPO code ZLK), one of the Mondrian special editions. The color can be ordered only in conjunction with the three Mondrian Edition interior colorways.
For reference, the available Mondrian Edition interior colorways for the 2024Â Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing consist of the following:
- Jet Black with Sky Cool Gray Accents
- Jet Black with Signet Accents
- Jet Black with Adrenaline Red Accents
As a reminder, the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is equipped with the features that distinguish the Cadillac V-Series Blackwing high-performance models. The Mondrian special editions which are offered with the 2024 model year consist of the Impact Edition (RPO code ZLJ), the Arrival Edition that boasts Mercury Silver Metallic as its exclusive exterior paint color, and the Elevation Edition (RPO code ZLR).
A different part of Cadillac motorsports history is honored by each of the Mondrian Edition packages. The Mercury Silver Metallic paint offered on the Arrival Edition only, out of all CT4 variants, is part of this, as are other exclusive interior and exterior details. Mondrian packages cost $22,000 and are limited to 66 vehicles in all for each of the three editions. This cost is added to the starting price of $62,890 revealed along with the rest of CT4-V Blackwing pricing by GM Authority.
The CT4-V Blackwing features the twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 LF4 gasoline engine rated at 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque as its only engine option, connected to a rear-wheel drive drivetrain.
The GM Alpha 2Â platform provides the bones for the CT4-V Blackwing. The sedan is produced at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan for the North American market.
