The 2024 Cadillac CT4 arrives as the fifth model year for the first-generation luxury sedan, with the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing once again offering a combination of sumptuous luxury and track-ready performance. Now, Cadillac has announced when production of the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Impact Edition will begin.

According to Cadillac, production of the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Impact Edition will begin in September of the 2023 calendar year. As was the case for the preceding model year, the 2024 Cadillac CT4 will be produced at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.

Cadillac is offering three special edition variants for the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing, each of which is known broadly as a “Mondrian Edition,” acknowledging Cadillac’s motorsport heritage. The three Mondrian Edition models include the Arrival Edition, the Elevation Edition, and Impact Edition, and each includes several upgrades and unique touches that enhance the CT4-V Blackwing’s exterior and interior.

More specifically, the 2024 CT4-V Blackwing Impact Edition is equipped as standard with both Carbon Fiber packages, exterior decals, red mirror caps, black wheel locks and lug nuts, and red brake calipers. The exterior also features Black Raven paint (paint code GBA). Inside the cabin, look for a sueded headliner and sueded pillars, Torch Red seat belts, a performance steering wheel, front sill plate covers, a serial plate, and for models equipped with the six-speed manual transmission, a unique shifter medallion.

Cadillac will produce just 66 units total, a nod to the number of V-Series Racing wins Cadillac has racked up since 2004. However, that exclusivity won’t come cheap, with the CT4-V Blackwing Impact Edition package priced at $22,000.

As a reminder, the CT4-V Blackwing cradles the twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 LF4 gasoline engine, which is rated at 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. The GM Alpha 2 platform is under the skin.

  1. It looks great with the side decals and red mirrors, but at 22,000, even with the carbon fiber items included, it is too expensive!!
