The Cadillac CT4 first hit the scene for the 2020 model year, with the high-performance CT4-V Blackwing variant arriving later for the 2022 model year. Packing track-ready, turbocharged speed, plus the traditional Cadillac luxury, the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is quite the machine. Now, Cadillac is paying homage to its racing heritage by offering three new special-edition variants for the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing, including the new Arrival Edition. Here’s when production of the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Arrival Edition is set to begin.
According to GM, production of the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Arrival Edition will begin in August of the 2023 calendar year. Production of the 2024 Cadillac CT4 will once again take place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
The 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing will offer a total of three “Mondrian Edition” models, including the new CT4-V Blackwing Arrival Edition, the Elevation Edition and the Impact Edition. Each will acknowledge the marque’s racing history with a wealth of upgrades for the exterior and interior.
“Since our inception, Cadillac has raced under a single iconic flag: the Mondrian,” Cadillac states. “Over the years, the Mondrian motif has evolved – as have the engineering, technology and design of our cars on the track.”
The 2024 CT4-V Blackwing Arrival Edition is equipped as standard with sueded headliners and pillars, a serialized B-pillar, and for models equipped with the six-speed manual transmission, a unique shifter medallion. Further upgrades include red mirror caps, both Carbon Fiber packages, decals, a performance steering wheel, Torch Red seat belts, front sill plate covers, black wheel locks and lug nuts, and red brake calipers. The Arrival Edition also features unique Mercury Silver Metallic paint (paint code GKA). All of this doesn’t come cheap, though, as the Arrival Edition package costs a whopping $22,000. Just 66 units will be built, a nod to the number of V-Series Racing wins since 2004.
As a reminder, the CT4-V Blackwing is motivated by the twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 LF4 gasoline engine, rated at 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. The GM Alpha 2 platform provides the bones.

There has been a deafening silence in the last few months regarding the building and shipping of Lyriq. GM was happy to report that over 1,000 Lyriqs were shipped in January 2023, but not much news since. Does Motrolix care to tell us what it knows (or indicate it has asked but is getting no answers from its usually reliable sources).
They can’t even sell the IMSA Editions with a heavy discount and they’re making three more???? GM suits are beyond disconnected from their customer base. These will sit at Lansing for 4-6 months before being shipped to sit another 6-7 months collecting LOT RUST.
Beast machine!
