Following a debut for the 2022 model year, the high-performance Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing makes its return for the 2024 model year to once again offer customers a combination of luxury and go-fast thrills. Notably, enthusiasts and collectors will have an opportunity to celebrate Cadillac’s racing heritage with the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Elevation Edition, a limited-run variant packed with motorsports-inspired content. Now, Cadillac has announced when production of the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Elevation Edition will begin.
Per the announcement, production of the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Elevation Edition is set to kick off this November. All units of the 2024 Cadillac CT4 will be produced at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
For those readers who may not know, Cadillac is launching three new special-edition models for the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing known as the Mondrian Editions. These special-edition models give a nod to Cadillac’s motorsport heritage, and each offers motorsport-inspired content and a unique set of upgrades for the exterior and interior. The three Mondrian Edition models include the Arrival Edition, the Elevation Edition, and the Impact Edition.
The 2024 CT4-V Blackwing Elevation Edition is equipped as standard with both of the CT4-V Blackwing’s optional Carbon Fiber aero upgrade packages, as well as a set of side decals, red brake calipers, black mirror caps, and black wheel locks and lug nuts. The exterior is draped in an eye-catching shade known as Velocity Red (paint code G7C), while the cabin is decked out with a performance steering wheel, a sueded headliner, sueded pillars, Torch Red seat belts, front sill plate covers, and a unique serial plate. What’s more, models equipped with the six-speed manual transmission include a unique shifter medallion.
Critically, Cadillac will produce just 66 units total, the same number of V-Series Racing wins the brand has racked up since 2004. As such, the three Mondrian CT4-V Blackwings will be highly exclusive, and as a result, they won’t come cheap, with each of the three optional packages priced at $22,000.
As a reminder, the CT4-V Blackwing is motivated by the twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 LF4 gasoline engine, rated at 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. The GM Alpha 2 platform provides the underpinnings.

$22k just for the trim packages? The base price alone should impress your neighbors, family and coworkers. Justifies the price of the repair parts. Have you not heard of the catastrophic failure; the single turbo 1.4 they still make? This should be a real boon for the service departments!
