While the exterior paint palette of the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing lost four colors from 2023, five new colors joined the model year’s lineup, specifically Velocity Red, Cyber Yellow Metallic, Coastal Blue Metallic, Mercury Silver Metallic and Black Diamond Tricoat. Here are the details of the Velocity Red paint color for the Blackwing.
Designated by color code G7C and touch-up paint number WA-130X, Velocity Red is one of ten 2024Â Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing exterior paint colors, listed here:

For most configurations of the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing, the Velocity Red paint color is an extra-charge option priced at $625. However, it is the mandatory paint color for the CT4-V Blackwing Elevation Edition (RPO code ZLR) and is therefore included at no additional cost. It is available in conjunction with all 2024 interior colorways, including those exclusive to the Mondrian special editions.

Notably, the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing belongs to the high-performance Cadillac V-Series Blackwing family. The 2024 model year ushers in few changes, but does feature three Mondrian special editions, including the Impact Edition (RPO code ZLJ), the Arrival Edition (RPO code ZLK) finished in exclusive Mercury Silver Metallic exterior paint, and the Elevation Edition.
Mondrian Edition CT4-V Blackwing sedans carry an additional cost of $22,000, with a limit of 66 vehicles produced in total. Pricing details uncovered by GM Authority show that the starting price for the model is $62,890, meaning the Mondrian Edition cars cost in the mid-$80,000 range at a minimum.
The twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 LF4 gasoline engine rated at 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque is the only powerplant offered for the CT4-V Blackwing, with a RWD drivetrain configuration to put the power to the pavement.
Under the body panels, the CT4-V Blackwing rides on the GM Alpha 2Â platform. North American production is carried out at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
