Chevy Corvette Discount Non-Existent In August 2023

In August 2023, any Chevy Corvette discount or incentive continues to be unavailable on the mid-engine sports car. Below, check out details on the 2023 Chevy Corvette Stingray and 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06, plus the upcoming 2024 Chevy Corvette and first-ever 2024 Chevy Corvette E-Ray.

Shown here is the 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06 Coupe with the Z07 performance package.

Chevrolet Corvette Incentives

There are no Chevy Corvette discount offers during the month of August, and no special financing or lease incentives either. The online configurator tool for each variant of the C8 Corvette can be used by prospective buyers to choose their preferred trim level, body style, exterior and interior colors, as well as options and features. Once the process is complete, the user can view a full pricing breakdown for their preferred build and also request a price quote from a local dealership for the vehicle.

Chevrolet Corvette Pricing

For reference, here are 2024 Chevy Corvette trim levels and corresponding starting MSRPs, $1,595 destination freight charge included:

The upcoming 2024 Chevy Corvette will add new active safety tech to its features list to bring it more in line with other Bow Tie brand models, including Automatic Emergency Braking and standard IntelliBeam automatic high-beam headlamps as well as Lane Keep Assist and Lane Departure Warning. The 2024 Corvette will also get new driver mode selection animations.

Also, the 2024 Corvette Stingray drops two alloy wheel choices, replacing them with new designs. Check out all the 2024 Corvette wheel options.

At the beginning of the year, GM debuted the first-ever 2024 Chevy Corvette E-Ray, featuring the naturally aspirated LT2 from the C8 Stingray mated to an electric motor mounted up front. The E-Ray is also the first-ever production Corvette equipped with front-wheel drive.

Pricing uncovered for the 2024 Corvette shows that for the new model year, the destination freight charge has increased across the board from $1,395 to $1,595, which is why the Corvette E-Ray’s prices are “up” $200 compared to those announced during the E-Ray’s debut. As such, the most affordable 2024 Corvette is the Stingray Coupe in 1LT trim, which boasts a starting price of $67,895. Meanwhile, the most expensive variant is the Z06 Convertible outfitted in 3LZ trim, with a starting MSRP of $130,245.

The online configurator tool is live for the entire 2024 Corvette lineup, including for the 2024 Corvette Stingray, the 2024 Corvette Z06, and the 2024 Corvette E-Ray, and still live for the 2023 Corvette.

2024 Chevy Corvette E-Ray Convertible

Production start of the 2024 Chevy Corvette has been pushed back to September 12th, though GM has already started building 2024 Chevy Corvette E-Ray units for use in the automaker’s Captured Test Fleet program, or CTF.

Once Z06 production is higher than the current, highly-constrained levels, and the E-Ray has finally launched, Chevy will launch the 2025 Chevy Corvette ZR1. It’s expected to be powered by a boosted variant of the 5.5 V8 LT6 engine found in the Z06, raising raise the performance bar even higher. Recently, our spies caught our very first glimpse of 2025 Corvette ZR1 prototypes testing out in the wild. Those shots reveal that the upcoming ZR1 will introduce a new wheel design.

  1. Chevy Corvette Discounts Non-Existent for August 2023? Should read: GM Will Not Discount the Corvette Due to High. Demand.

  2. I can remember when you could get a discount on a Corvette! But then again, back then there was different management running the company who not only cared for the bottom line but actually cared for their customers. Repeat customers and customers who were willing to put nice deposits down to order their vehicle. It’s amazing that GM can find ways to discount every other one of their vehicles at different times but, continue to not only charge full price plus “fair market value ” for the C8 Corvette. And only “one” oil change to boot! Tomg

  3. No discounts? What a joke! You should publish what the average mark-up is on a C8 Stingray. In the Denver metro area
dealers are marking up the C8 between $10,000 and $20,000. Publish those figures for all large metro areas in the USA if you are looking for meaningful journalism. .
GM tells dealers not to markup the C8, Z06 or E-Ray, but they do it anyway. Mark-ups on the Z06 almost equal the base price of the car. !
So publishing an article that says there are no discounts is living in La La land.
GM does not want to acknowledge the mark-ups and will not publish what they are. So, please stop publishing “no discounts” and start publishing what the mark-ups actually are.

    1. I agree, take a page out of Tesla. Go online or to the showroom, configure your Corvette, get the configured price, place a deposit, place your order and wait for delivery. Car arrives, complete payment transaction and drive away. Easy Peasy.

  6. No discounts. Seriously? Maybe a GM company edict limiting dealer markups is the better news.

Unfortunately GM doesn’t really care much what we think is a reasonable price as long as the dealers are selling cars.

I’m pretty sure all the dealership owners who are currently displaying their own Z06’s as purchased in their showrooms still received their typical dealer invoice discount price from GM (Approx. 7% below MSRP average).

Checking on line this afternoon I see new Z06’s for sale with markups ranging from $50 to $100K over MSRP from the GM dealer network. Combined with an average 7% below MSRP dealer invoice price on the car results in a very tidy dealer profit.

And here you thought GM really cares about what you think is a fair price. Right!

Unfortunately as long as people continue to pay the ridiculous prices dealers are asking the cars will continue to sell at these ridiculous prices.

  7. I found a dealer that has no markups. But is it true. What if someone offers a markup? Will I still receive my C8 in a timely manner? If at all.
