The 2024 Corvette introduces the fifth model year for the latest eighth-generation C8, which brings the hybrid-powered, all-wheel-drive 2024 Corvette E-Ray to the lineup of Vette variants along with several other changes and updates.
Now, GM Authority is bringing you a closer look at the 22 different wheel options available for the three variants of the 2024 Corvette. The wheel selection includes three LPO options and two differently sized sets, those with 19-inch front wheels and 20-inch rear wheels, and those with 20-inch front wheels and 21-inch rear wheels.

E-Ray Wheels
Only one wheel set per variant of the 2024 Corvette is a no-charge option, equipped as standard. All other wheel sets are extra-charge options, priced at anywhere from $495 to $13,500.
Current, three sets of available 2024 Corvette wheels are offered as LPO-level options, meaning the dealership installs them instead of the factory when the vehicle is initially produced. Units of the 2024 Chevy Corvette equipped with an LPO-level wheel arrive from the factory on transit aluminum wheels, which are then returned to the plant after the dealer installs the LPO-level wheels.
The following table shows the standard and available wheel sets for each of the 2024 Corvette’s three variants, along with prices and RPO codes:

GM has hiked the destination freight charge for all variants of the 2024 Corvette from $1,395 to $1,595, increasing the apparent price of the E-Ray by $200 since its debut.
The most affordable 2024 Corvette continues to be the C8 Stingray Coupe in the 1LT trim level, with a starting MSRP of $67,895. Meanwhile, the most expensive 2024 C8 is a C8 Z06 Convertible outfitted in the 3LZ trim with a starting price of $130,245.
As a reminder, each of the 2024 Corvette variants is motivated by a unique powertrain configuration, with the 2024 Stingray powered by the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine developing 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque in standard form.
Moving up the scale of variants, the 2024 Corvette Z06 features the naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 gasoline engine providing 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Finally, the 2024 E-Ray combines the Stingray’s LT2 engine with an electric motor on the front axle to raise total output up to 655 horsepower.
Under the body panels, all C8 Corvette models ride on the GM Y2 platform. Production for the 2024 Corvette has been delayed until September 12th, 2023, and will take place exclusively at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.

How long before 22 variants are under constraint?
Ehhhh, just makes me envious that there’s not a decent looking wheel to be had in the 2023 GMC Canyon..
While I can applaud the “22 different wheel combinations”….two things still bother me (as a long time Corvette owner), one is that the “standard wheel” that comes with the C8 is still basically the same wheel that the 2020 and every year since (read: no cost) has come with and two, the optional wheels can be damn expensive and while an improvement (sic) somehow except for the “not available except on the ERay” wheel which I personally think is pretty cool, still seems to miss the “Marque” and of course for some, the “dark or black wheels” are preferable while I appreciate the lighter variations of “Silver” as they seem to show off the basic lines of the C8 better. But…because “everyone likes their coffee just a little bit different” I suppose if this is the best that GM wheel designers can do, then so be it, if you want something above and beyond what they’re offering then there is always the outside wheel manufactures…so, the many choices out there are good and you can’t find fault with choices in todays market. Picking and choosing your desired wheels for your C8 has just become an even better (if not downright costly) deal for us Corvette enthusiast, but “you play, you pay” still holds true.
