As the fifth model year of the Vette’s eighth generation, the 2024 Corvette will receive a bevy of updates and changes over the preceding model year, most notable of which is the introduction of the electrified 2024 Corvette E-Ray. Now, GM Authority has uncovered the pricing breakdown of all 2024 Corvette variants.
For the new model year, the destination freight charge has increased across the board from $1,395 to $1,595, which is why the E-Ray’s prices are “up” $200 compared to those announced during the Corvette E-Ray’s debut. As such, the most affordable 2024 Corvette is a C8 Stingray Coupe in the 1LT trim level, which boasts a starting price of $67,895. Meanwhile, the most expensive 2024 C8 is a C8 Z06 Convertible outfitted in the 3LZ trim, which features a starting MSRP of $130,245.
Trim Level | Configuration | 2024 MSRP + DFC | Increase 2024 vs 2023 |

Z06 3LZ | Coupe | $123,245 | $2,700 |
Z06 3LZ | Convertible | $130,245 | $2,700 |
It’s worth noting that Z06 pricing figures don’t include the gas guzzler tax.
The price increases over the 2023 Corvette are in part justified by the inclusion of added safety features, which include:
As a reminder, each of the 2024 Corvette variants feature a unique powertrain configuration, as the 2024 Stingray is powered by the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine, rated at 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque in standard form. Meanwhile, the 2024 Z06 features the naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 gasoline engine, rated at 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Finally, the 2024 E-Ray combines the aforementioned LT2 engine with an electric motor on the front axle to bring total output up to 655 horsepower.
Under the skin, all C8 Corvette models ride on the GM Y2 platform, while production for the 2024 model year will kick off on September 5th, 2023 exclusively at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.

My 2021 Z51, 2LT, Mag Ride, Front end lift, was $60,995 base price, (the 2020 was $59,995 base price).
So I feel pretty lucky to have this 2021 sitting in my garage. I paid MSRP, ordered way in advance, waited 13 months for delivery. Got exactly what I wanted.
Out The Door was $78,611.
I think us early buyers are really seeing a good value as the MSRP is going up on these.
But I still have a desire for that Z06 2LZ and think the price is fair. As long as it is MSRP.
Save the Wave, Join a sanctioned NCCC Corvette Club. Have fun.
best thing about that is the car is still worth 75k -80k!!
I wonder how the automatic emergency braking will work on the track ?
Get out front, stay out front 😎
SOME TIMES YOU LAP THE SLOWER ONES .
I’m just trying to get someone to finance what I want,aC8 Corvette, my credit is jacked but my get the money monthly to pay for what I want, tired of settling for something I don’t want, I’ve had 2 Corvettes,a 1984 which I still have and a 1999 that I really got ripped out of by a supposed to be long family friend, back to the basics, not looking for a hand out, I’m a disabled veteran that can’t do much at all, but I know what I want and I can pay for it, just need someone to take a chance and finance one for me, thanks for reading my email
It ALL has nothing to do with supply chain issues . It’s ALL driven by employee (UNIION ) salary greed , retirement benefits and health insurance for the rank and file employees ! So the ONLY and EASIEST thing for GM to do is to raise prices and pass all of the employee desires and wishes onto the consumer . The oldest business trick in the book.
Take a history lesson and learn why unions were formed in the first place…+ I have 2 nephews that hired into union jobs at GM in the past 5 years and they will not receive a traditional pension.
RH that is true but nor for the reason you stated. GM sold the pension to the UAW. So the decision to offer or not off pensions belongs to the union not GM.
It has nothing to with supply chain and everything to do with demand. People are either paying over MSRP or waiting a year plus. I was expecting much higher price increases because people want this car.
Those damn workers, wanting health insurance and a livable wage. The nerve of them
People deserve decent wages, all Americans deserve health care and free college
or technical school higher education.
Let’s talk about executive compensation that is 1,000 times what well paid middle managers get.
Government Health Care. The efficiency of the Post Office and the tender caring of the IRS. I think I’ll pass on that one.
And executives manage 10s of thousands more workers than middle management and also have responsibility to millions of stock holders. . Hmm, wonder how that works?
I have thought about it, every time I pay my income tax. NOTHING IS FREE, someone pays, and I don’t owe anyone a college education or health care.
There’s that word again, FREE. Nothing is FREE. In order for education to be free then those teaching would have to teach for FREE too and there goes decent wages because they don’t exist in FREE. Same with healthcare. Anybody paying for their healthcare knows they are not only paying for themselves BUT for 2, 3 or more others who cannot pay
Still a great value. Period. Awesome car.
I don’t have a problem with the pricing. I just want to be able to configure, and actually place an order to be built. I placed multiple deposits at two different large dealerships over two years ago just to get on the wait list for the Z06 and the upcoming E-Ray. I was told I would have to wait at least one more year to order the Z06 which most likely will be delivered 9 months later. The E-Ray I may get to order mid-year 2024 and get it delivered in the first half of 2025. You would think with such a high demand for the Corvette, GM would invest in an additional production facility. But no, they are investing billions in building new facilities for EVs .A recent poll is showing people aren’t interested in EVs for various reasons which translates to EV inventories growing at dealerships. Before you give me a thumbs down, I am not against EVs, what I am upset about is GM not addressing the high demand for the Corvette which is only going to get worse with the introduction of the E-Ray and the upcoming ZR1. Wake-up GM!
LAWS OF SUPPLY AND DEMAND WILL ALWAYS PREVAIL… I GM were to flood the market with a 2nd assembly..there would be less demand/anticipation and prices would not be able to be raised as the demand/waiting would not be as great…and dont forget about the stockholder and Executive BONUSES!
A member of my family works for GM ‘on the line’ and gets health insurance and $17.50 an hour, but no 401k or other benefits (about what workers at Target or Amazon or McDonalds make). She will have to work for 4 years in her category before she gets a raise to about $21 and hour and a bit more comprehensive health insurance and qualifies for a 401k. Meanwhile Ms. Barra makes about $50 million dollars a year. So who are the greedy ones who boost up the price of your vehicle?
It doesm’t always work out well if you depend on others to do what you can do for yourself. Your family menber can start a 401k on her own. She could also go to work for Target, Amazon or McDonalds if she can get a better deal there. Better yet, she could go back to school, graduate and apply for Ms. Barra’s job. When you look at the people at the top, many of them started at the bottom. If your family friend does her job better than everyone else, someone will notice. If she complains and waits for someone to do something for her, everyone will notice.
Keep in mind, this model ceases 2029.
So it’s been said.
Is the C9 going to be all electric.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Hi Dennis,
Not sure where you live, but I may have a deal for you if you can wait a few months.
I have a 2023 C8, red tint metallic, red/black interior, performance package with the

2020 C8 coupe in Ceramic Gray for it.
I am going to my dealer next Friday to order my 2024 E-Ray. (I placed my order so many
years ago) , I am now number 3 on my large volume dealer’s priority list.
My dealer is Stingray Chevrolet in Plant City, Florida. My salesman is Mike Hinton, who
has sold me 4 Corvettes, and at least 7/8 other vehicles
