The 2022 Cadillac CT5 will introduce a new Radiant Package, which will add more chrome exterior parts and trim to the luxury sedan to achieve a more upscale appearance.
The Radiant Package for the 2022 Cadillac CT5 is an LPO-level/dealer-installed equipment package tagged with RPO code PDV. This appearance pack will be available to order on the 2022 Cadillac CT5 in the Luxury and Premium Luxury trim levels only. Pricing for the package is not yet available at the moment. The Radiant Package will include the following equipment:
- 20-inch alloy wheels with Polished/Dark Android Gloss finish (RPO SSE)
- Bright grille, LPO (RPO VAS)
- Monochrome Cadillac emblems, LPO (Luxury trim level only, RPO SFZ)
Cadillac offers a similar Radiant Package on a handful of its other models, too, including the 2021 Cadillac Escalade, 2021 Cadillac XT4 and the 2021 Cadillac XT6. The Radiant Packages for these models also all contain additional chrome exterior trim and parts with the goal of giving each vehicle a more opulent outward appearance.
As we reported previously, the 2022 Cadillac CT5 will also be offered with a new Onyx Package. The Onyx Package is another LPO-level equipment package and brings more gloss black painted exterior parts and trim pieces to the vehicle, including gloss black 20-inch wheels, a black grille, black mirror caps and monochrome Cadillac emblems, among more.
The 2022 Cadillac CT5 will also see the addition of three new exterior colors: Blaze Orange Metallic, Electric Blue and Dark Emerald Frost. These colors indirectly replace three departing colors, which include Velocity Red, Evergreen Metallic and Dark Blue Moon Metallic. The CT5-V Blackwing ultra-performance model was also added to the lineup for the 2022 model year, bringing with it a 668-horsepower supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine and a standard six-speed manual transmission.
Production of the standard 2022 Cadillac CT5 will commence at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan on October 18th following a lengthy hiatus due to the global chip shortage. GM began building the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing performance variant at the plant back in July.

The car pictured above does NOT have the Radiant Package. These are old shots of the 2020 model that have been posted here and a thousand other places many times.
No wonder it didn’t look very radiant.
Too bad noone will ever get one. The plant has been shut down how many months now?🤔
Cadillac has in my opinion been on a down hill slide after owning 5 of them. OF COURSE THE PRICE ALWAYS CLIMBS.
Well, I’m extremely happy with my 2018 Cadillac ATS-V Coupe….sure NOT down hill from my previous 2013 ATS and 2008 CTS. And, the ATS-V 464 HP is about the same as my C7 Corvette….not at all shabby (or down hill). I get kudos every day for the looks.
“….add more chrome exterior parts…”
The grille……
Done.
Yes, Yes
The Cadillac Package. Imagine that
I’m also very content with my 2019 ats v in wave metallic with the dealer installed black chrome grill and rear trim piece & graphite wheels. Remember: chrome don’t get you home…Power and comfort are phenomenal !
