The 2021 Cadillac Escalade has a number of new options and features for customers to get excited about, but there’s one available extra for the full-size luxury SUV that some prospective buyers may know very little about, the Radiant Package.
The 2021 Cadillac Escalade Radiant Package, which has the production code PDV, enhances the look of the SUV with a number of cosmetic add-ons, which include the following (production codes in parentheses):
- 22-inch 12-spoke Chrome alloy wheels (SET)
- Bright Sport mesh grille with Galvano surround (SJ9)
- Monochromatic Cadillac emblem (SFZ)
- Cadillac crest puddle lamps (S3I)
The Radiant Package will add $3,295 to the price of the 2021 Cadillac Escalade. The package is available on Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Premium Luxury – Platinum trim levels and is not offered on either the Sport or Sport Platinum trims. This is an LPO-level option, which means the price of it is factored in with the base price and financing of the vehicle, however the equipment it comes with is installed by the dealership prior to delivery to the customer, rather than at the factory.
The side-by-side photographs below clearly demonstrate the differences between a 2021 Cadillac Escalade equipped with and without the Radiant Package. With the 22-inch Chrome alloy wheels, a different mesh grille and Monochromatic Cadillac emblems, the package gives the luxury SUV a more opulent, flashy and high-end look. The vehicle pictured in the example photos is a 2021 Cadillac Escalade Platinum finished in Black Raven.
While many prospective 2021 Cadillac Escalade buyers probably know all about headline features of the new SUV, like the 38-inch curved OLED display and available 3.0L LM2 turbodiesel engine, they probably hadn’t previously heard of the Radiant Package. The cosmetic upgrade package is available to order from all Cadillac dealers in the U.S. and Canada.

It’s a shame that General Motors CEO Mary Barra is so dead against Hybrids because this would be a great time to integrate some of the EV technology of the upcoming GMC Hummer EV into the Cadillac Escalade as the ability to offer V8 performance without sacrificing fuel economy is what help sells cars even when they’re priced at almost $100K; a 6.2L V8 Hybrid Escalade still getting near 40 mpg is something GM could laugh all the way to the bank.
Try selling for $115-$120K!!
Let’s give it to Cadillac for giving us something other than the monochrome, “gangsta” look as an appearance option!

I see it advertised everywhere, but GM has a constraint on this pkg for the Escalades. Says release date is TBD (to be determined). They *have just released it for the XT4s, so maybe it will be ready for the Escalades by ’22!🙄🙄🙄
