2025 GMC Yukon To Offer Several New Appearance Packages

Officially unveiled just last month, the revised 2025 GMC Yukon is underscored by a reworked exterior design, overhauled interior appointments, and the introduction of two new trim levels – Elevation and AT4 Ultimate. There will be several new LPO, or dealer-installed, appearance packages available on the 2025 GMC Yukon. For all the information down below, the relevant RPO codes are listed in parenthesis unless otherwise noted.

As a reminder, another notable update for the 2025 Yukon is the tweaked powertrain lineup. While the two naturally aspirated V8 gasoline engines – the 5.3L V8 L84 and 6.2L V8 L87 – will carry over for the fresh model year, the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine has been supplanted by the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine, which develops 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque.

Under the skin, the 2025 Yukon continues to be underpinned by the GM T1 platform, while production is currently scheduled to get under way on October 7th, 2024 at the GM Arlington Assembly plant in Texas.

  1. What I don’t understand is here we are a month and a day from start of production and we STILL don’t have pricing NOR can we go to the GMC / Chevy / Cadillac websites and build one. WHAT is GM waiting for??? Perhaps, instead I should be asking what games are they playing this time? (I mean besides making us wait 6+ months to get the diesel)

  2. Maybe they should focus on fixing the unreliable and ever-failing 6.2L engine. Claims to be so tough and durable and it’s failing catastrophically and yet they claim to not know anything about it. Try using Google just one time GM. Such a shame!

    1. Yeah, I had a ’23 Escalade 6.2 for awhile and I learned the trick around town was to shift into manual mode, paddle shift up to 9th gear and just drive it that way. (since it defeated both the cylinder deactivation AND the Start/Stop) Bad news was that although it killed the tech, it also dropped my in town MPG to 12-12.5
All that just to keep my engine from scattering…
