Chevy Camaro Collector Edition Watches Are Being Shipped

Production of the sixth-generation Chevy Camaro has come to an end, with the final unit rolling off the line last month. To commemorate the sixth-gen Camaro’s final model year, Chevy offered fans several special edition model variants, including the Chevy Camaro Collector Edition, which includes a bevy of unique aesthetic upgrades, as well as a unique Shinola Canfield Sport 45mm watch. Now, these new Chevy Camaro Collector Edition watches are being shipped.

Images of the new special edition watch popped up online, posted by owner Mike Lee. The images show a wooden box with the Camaro logo and Camaro Panther logo (the first-generation Chevy Camaro program was given the “Panther” code name, as alluded to by the sixth-gen Camaro Collector Edition with special logos, icons, and paint color names). The images also show a special welcome letter that appears to be included with the watch.

As for the watch itself, it also incorporates the Camaro Panther logo on the watch band, while the watch face shows the Camaro logo at the 6 o’clock position. The watch face has a black backing and white type, while the band is finished in flat black. The back of the watch includes a serial number, the Shinola logo, and script indicating that the watch was (fittingly) built in Detroit.

The watch should provide a nice complement for the Chevy Camaro Collector Edition, which incorporates similar coloring and logos. The Collector’s Edition package was offered across the 2024 Chevy Camaro trim level lineup, with package content varying based on the trim level selected. The special Shinola watch, however, was only available in conjunction with the ZL1 trim level.

The ZL1 is also the only trim to offer the Collector’s Edition package in conjunction with the unique Panther Black Matte paint (paint code GNW), which appears to be applied to the Shinola watch band as well.

As a reminder, the sixth-generation 2024 Chevy Camaro offered three engine options, including the atmospheric 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine, the atmospheric 6.2L V8 LT1 gasoline engine, and the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine. The GM Alpha platform provides the underpinnings, while production took place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.

  4. GM. You can keep your watch and your overpriced decals. You had the chance to take the Camaro out with class and you totally blew it.

  5. I got my watch the other day, it’s just a generalized watch nothing customized to say you were this owner, or it was to this person.

There are also two 12×36 prints as well or of similar dimension. My box did not come in pristine condition since GM made the delivery box a quarter inch smaller than the shipping box. Every corner was damaged…

The “quality” watch was a nice we don’t care about you to the buyers.

    1. Um, I don’t think they made one for a “Camero”….

  7. Nothing against Shinola, but I don’t believe a GM sponsored commemorative Camaro watch is going to be a deal maker or deal breaker for the last year ZL1. That said a Breitling ( makes Corvette, Mustang and Shelby Cobra commemorative watches) would have been the better choice.

  8. Bought an automatic Shinola watch in the Caribbean on a cruise. Never paid so much $ for a watch before. Does not keep time. Never did. Waste of $. Never again.
