2023 Chevy Equinox Gets New Harvest Bronze Metallic Color: First Look

The 2023 Chevy Equinox adds three new exterior colors to its palette: Radiant Red Tintcoat, Sterling Gray Metallic, and Harvest Bronze Metallic. Here’s our first look at the new Bronze hue.

Assigned RPO code GXN and touch-up paint code WA-135H, Harvest Bronze Metallic is one of eight exterior colors offered on the compact crossover, which include:

  • Blue Glow Metallic
  • Iridescent Pearl Tricoat
  • Iron Gray Metallic
  • Mosaic Black Metallic
  • Summit White
  • Harvest Bronze Metallic (new for 2023)
  • Radiant Red Tintcoat (new for 2023)
  • Sterling Gray Metallic (new for 2023)

Harvest Bronze Metallic is a no-cost item that is available on LT, RS, and Premier trim levels, but not LS. It can be combined with all interior colorways.

For reference, here are all three available interior colorways offered on the 2023 Equinox:

  • Jet Black
  • Jet Black/Maple Sugar
  • Medium Ash Gray

The 2023 Chevy Equinox ushers in a few noteworthy updates and changes, one of the biggest of which is a new engine, with the turbocharged 1.5L I4 LSD gasoline engine replacing the turbocharged 1.5L I4 LYX. Also, the 2023 Equinox will get a new e-boost braking system. Additionally, the Sport Edition and Midnight Edition packages return for the 2023 model year. Pricing for the 2023 Equinox increases $300 across the board over 2022.

The Equniox crossover rides on the GM D2 platform. Production of the 2023 Chevy Equinox began at the GM San Luis Potosí plant and GM Ramos Arizpe plant, both located in Mexico, on August 22nd, 2022. The online configurator tool is now live for the 2023 Equinox.

    1. Who buys these ugly black and brown trucks with black wheels and black tires?! Do they offer a big discount for ugly vehicles perhaps? White vehicles with black wheels and tires are almost as ugly! Eventually these unsightly vehicles sit around on used car lots for 120 days until they discount them… says my nephew a car salesman. Hmmm.

  6. While I agree black and especially black wheels aren’t good had anyone looked at the 2023 Chevy Colorado in this color real world shots? It isn’t almost black, it’s much more brown/greenish. I’d get it and pair it with a bright aluminum wheel on a truck. Not sure how it’d look on a CUV, but it definitely isn’t close to black like the pictures above show.
