These changes follow the 2020 XT6, which was the model’s introductory year, along with small changes for the 2021 XT6, 2022 XT6 and 2023 XT6.

Luxury models carry product codes 6NV26, Premium Luxury is 6NW26 and Sport models are labeled 6NX26.
Changes, Updates, New Features
The 2024 XT6 sees only minor changes – the deletion of three exterior colors, the addition of two exterior colors, and the addition of three new accent packages.

Production
Production of the 2024 Cadillac XT6 kicked off at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee in June 2023. This facility supplies all global markets with the exception of China. Meanwhile, the SAIC-GM Jinqiao Cadillac plant in Shanghai, China produces the XT6 for the domestic Chinese market.
Platform
The first-generation Cadillac XT6 is based on a variant of the GM C1 platform shared with various GM crossover SUVs.
Seating
The 2024 XT6 is offered in two seating configurations, seating either six or seven passengers.
- Six passenger configuration (2-3-2): standard on all trims, this setup features front bucket seats (providing seating for two), along with a bench seat in the second row (seating three) and a bench seat in the third row (seating two).
- Seven passenger configuration (2-2-2): only available on Premium Luxury and Sport, this setup features front bucket seats (providing seating for two), along with captain’s chairs in the second row (seating two) and a bench seat in the third row (seating two).

Beyond 2024
We expect the current, first-generation XT6 to remain in production through the 2026 model year. A small update will arrive for the 2025 model year exclusively in China. The model will be indirectly replaced by the Cadillac Vistiq.
