First Generation
In a press release dated December 14th, 2023, GM announced plans to launch the Cadillac Vistiq. The marque didn’t share many mode details outside of the, but it did confirm that the Vistiq will be “a distinctive and innovative luxury three-row SUV” designed for the modern family, and that it will slot between the Lyriq and Escalade IQ.
“Vistiq adds another compelling EV to the Cadillac lineup, reinforcing our commitment to an electric future,” said John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac. “Our brand now has an EV entry in most luxury segments, offering customers a range of choices, and Cadillac EVs will cover most luxury SUV segments across critical global markets in the next two years.”
The Vistiq is expected to launch in the 2025 calendar year as a 2026 model year vehicle. GM says that more details about the Vistiq will be announced in 2024.
Vistiq-V
It’s currently unclear whether Cadillac will introduce a high-performance variant of the Vistiq, which would logically carry the Vistiq-V moniker. Vistiq’s smaller relative and platform mate, the Lyriq, does have a V-Series variant (see more on the Lyriq-V).
