The Buick Encore receives several minor changes and updates for the 2022 model year, which marks the tenth and final model year for the first-generation sub-compact crossover as it was discontinued after the 2022 model year. It was indirectly replaced by Buick’s new entry-level subcompact crossover, the 2024 Buick Envista.

The 2022 Buick Encore is assembled by GM Korea at the GM Bupyeong factory in Incheon, Korea.

Pricing for the 2022 Encore begins at $25,795, including the $1,195 destination freight charge.
Availability
The 2022 Buick Encore followed the regular GM model year rollover sequence, and launched in U.S. during the third quarter of the 2021 calendar year.
Beyond 2022
We expect 2023 to be the last year of production for the first-generation Buick Encore. As of this writing, the prospect of an all-new, future Buick Encore is uncertain.
It is possible that the Encore nameplate will be phased out, while the smaller Encore GX lives on. Another possibility is that the GEM-based Encore (Global Emerging Market platform) will enter the U.S. market.
