As a reminder, the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban both offer three engine options, including the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, and the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax. Need to make the HD variant available to consumers moving forward.
Why is GM waiting until February before adding Super Cruise to the 2025 Tahoe/Suburban? Is it a chip shortage?
I asked Chevy managers about this, and the answer is essentially related to logistics and supply chain. They didn’t want to give more details beyond that.
when GM says “waiting until February”, do you mean GM will start production of super cruise vehicles in February? Or do you mean dealerships will start receiving super cruise vehicles to sell in February? Because it takes months for production to ramp up
