Debuting a mid-cycle refresh for the full-size Bow Tie SUV nameplate, the 2025 Chevy Tahoe introduces fresh, truck-inspired exterior styling, an overhauled interior, new technology and a new diesel engine option.
Here, GM Authority is providing a complete look at the pricing for the various 2025 Chevy Tahoe trim levels and configurations, along with the prices for a wide range of optional packages, features, and extras.
First, let’s look at how pricing breaks down for the various trim levels of the 2025Â Chevy Tahoe sport-utility. The trim level walk includes six trims in all, including the LS, LT, Z71, RST, Premier and High Country. The lowest starting MSRP is $60,495 for the LS trim level with standard RWD, increasing to the highest base price of $81,695 for the High Country configured with optional AWD. These prices include a $1,995 destination freight charge.
Turning to the more significant options and packages, the Advanced Technology Package (RPO code PDN) now includes the Super Cruise (RPO code UKL) semi-autonomous driver assist system, and is available on the LT trim for $4,480 and on the RST for $4,130. Several 22-inch wheel options are on offer for $3,780 to $3,995. A host of other, often less expensive features is also available.

Among other changes to the 2025 Chevy Tahoe, three paint colors have been dropped from the available palette, including Empire Beige Metallic (color code GJW), Midnight Blue Metallic (GLU) and Silver Sage Metallic (G6N). These have been indirectly replaced by a pair of other colors, Cypress Gray (GBD) and Lakeshore Blue Metallic (GXP).
GM decided to keep the RST Performance Edition package (RPO code WPK) for the 2025 model year. You can find a full breakdown of the 2025 Tahoe’s standard features in a previous GM Authority post. Additionally, engine availability has been updated, with available powerplants including the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine developing 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine cranking out 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, and the new-for-2025 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine providing 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque.
The  GM T1 platform continues to provide structure under the sheet metal for the 2025 Tahoe, while production is currently scheduled to kick off in October 2024 at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.

What a joke. Take a Premier 4WD with a few options and you will be at 90 grand. Base model 2 WD for just over 60 grand with zero added features? No thanks.
I don’t know what’s more crazy. Them asking this much or the people silly enough to pay it.
Your on the wrong site cim..
you may want to visit KIA, Toyota or possibly, Nissan.com
Sorry. I almost drive GM exclusively. Well, that may have to change soon is they don’t offer a sedan EV for me to buy when I’m ready to turn my Bolt over to my daughter. I’ve owned Kia’s and they were ok but not as good as GM.
So what you are saying is either buy a GM fat pig gas hos SUV or truck or go someplace else? Sure am glad you aren’t running GM!! Or are you?
Pricing is insane, no argument there buts its the same for many other OEM’s
Go price out a 25 Navigator against an 25 Escalade, or a 25 Expedition against a 25 Tahoe.
Toyota pricing is worst in MHO
Bob D: Although that is very true, it doesn’t make any difference. They are all way WAY over-priced. It’s like saying that your neighbor and your cousin and your brother all went out and smashed the huge glass windows on main street, so you are going to do it too.
Just because they are all price gauging buyers doesn’t make it ok.
Maybe buyers can look at used K2XX SUVs that are cheaper and have LESS gadgets to go wrong…
so basically if one wants the 6.2 you are just better off buying the escalade.. well done mary msrp barra… well done
Stop buying!!!!!! Plain and simple. Prices have to come down if no one buys…….simple supply and demand.
hate to brake it to you but thats the biggest scam you’ve been sold.
its never been about supply and demand. in reality its called market manipulation but your teachers wont tell you that. SupPply And DeMAnD SuPpLY ChAin ConSTrAinTs
buzzwords. sounds better than milking the consumer and padding profits doesnt it
Sorry lol. Wrong. TNTSierra is totally correct.
People stop buying them (or at least stop buying in such high numbers), then the prices will drop. Case in point: The housing crisis and stock market problem in the 2008/2009 time frame. I remember people coming into our dealership (Buick, Cadillac, GMC and Honda) and dumping their huge SUV’s and trucks while paying MSRP or more for Civic Hybrids. The values of those huge gas hogs tanked. The deals on the new ones were beyond great. At that same time, the Jeeps dealers had brand new Commanders and Grand Cherokee’s selling at nearly half price. I could go on, but point made and these were real-life examples. Supply and demand.
But oh how we seem to forget so quickly. But if something like that happens again, it will be worse and a total blood-shed. People have gotten worse at spending more than they can afford. They have only gotten bigger. Higher payments. Longer terms, etc. So if (when) it happens, I will be sitting in a good place. Will you?
no he is not. else you would be able to buy a dodge for 10$ right now.
as i said, youve been indoctrinated with the biggest lie designed to keep you poor and compliant. the older you are the more you believe this because they really drilled it into you from every angle…. you know this is true too.
its not supply nor demand because supply is controlled and demand is created. none of those are organic and YOU control neither.
the only people screaming “dont buy” are poors who cannot afford it and\or old people who well are pretty much checked out and wont buy anything else before they depart. you know this is true as well.
for everybody else, you will buy. you. will. buy. at. the. price. mary msrp barra. sets. for. you. and. thats. a. fact.
@ lol
You are totally lost in your delusion! But keep up the great comical nonsense you state on here.
NO! For everyone else, if nobody buys these overpriced grocery getters, then GM will be FORCED to slash prices, and offer HUGE discounts again, to get them off dealer lots! Its rather quite simple LOGICS…..
Mercedes-Benz pricing with cheap interiors Chevys are famous for. As long as buyers are willing to pay these prices, prices will never come down.
Yes it is pricey however I have a 2006 Chevy Tahoe Z71 with 325,000.00 miles. I’m ready for a new one when the 2025 comes out.
Just say’en I like mine.
The people crying about the price of the 25 Tahoe are the people who desperately want one, but can’t afford one. They were probably also crying in 04 when GM was asking 44K for a new Tahoe.
The GMT800 Tahoes were actually MORE expensive than the 1st gen Seqouia that competed with them…..
A 1st Gen Seqouia costed around 32k dollars…adjusted for inflation that is around 50k today.
A GMT800 Tahoe costed 44k dollars as you said…but could go to 48k…so that adjusted for inflation would be roughly 77k dollars (using the higher price). Point is, people should STOP CRYING about being able to afford them and look for decently used examples instead….which have been well maintained, rather than simply wasting money on these new ones.
Both these trucks have 400k mile examples…so reliability is NOT that different..and if anything both are prone to rusting their frames out if not taken care of. As a matter of fact, I STILL see GMT800 Tahoes/Suburbans/Yukons/Escalades here in Qatar……so they are very durable vehicles.
“44k dollars as you said…but could go to 48k…so that adjusted for inflation would be roughly 77k dollars”
Agreed! However, the 25’s technology and refinement is night and day above the 04 model. So, it’s really not an overpriced vehicle.
And of course, which such technology…..there has to be some way Chevrolet can make money out of the hard effort they put into it..
It’s called, running a successful business.
Costco Auto Buying program now has the build/price for 2025 Tahoe and Yukon available to configure…FYI
