2025 Chevy Blazer Gets Full Rear Park Assist Availability Back

Per previous GM Authority coverage from October 2022, the 2023 Blazer was unable to be ordered with the rear park assist feature. While this constraint was partially resolved in May 2023, it now appears as though the 2025 Chevy Blazer gets full availability of the safety tech.

GM Authority has learned that the 2025 Blazer 2LT and 3LT trim levels are once again being built with the rear park assist (RPO code UD7) feature, as only RS and Premier have been fitted with the safety goodie since May 2023. Optional on 2LT trims and standard on the 3LT, RS and Premier models, the feature is included and only available with the Driver Confidence Package (RPO code WPA), which itself includes the following (relevant RPO code in parenthesis):

  • Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert (UKC)
  • Rear Park Assist (UD7)
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert (UFG)

It’s worth noting that the Driver Confidence Package is priced at $690.

In other 2025 Chevy Blazer-related developments, GM Authority exclusively uncovered pricing details for the Bow Tie crossover last month. More specifically, figures are unchanged from the 2024 model year, where the starting MSRP stands at just under $37,000 and rises up to approximately $47,500, leading to a roughly $10,000 range. Notably, all prices include a $1,395 destination freight charge.

As a reminder, the Blazer is offered with the option between two engines, including the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, rated at 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine, rated at 308 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. Both powerplants are matched to the GM nine-speed automatic transmission, while FWD is standard equipment and AWD is offered as optional.

In regard to structure, the Blazer rides on the GM C1 platform. Meanwhile, production of the 2025 model year officially kicked off in July 2024 at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico.
