As GM Authority reported way back in July 2023, three wheels for the 2024 Corvette E-Ray were unavailable to order. That being said, the trio of carbon fiber wheels are now able to be ordered on the C8 E-Ray once again.
GM Authority has learned that the following carbon fiber wheels are now available for purchase on the Corvette E-Ray (relevant RPO code in parenthesis):
- 20-inch front and 21-inch rear Carbon Flash-painted carbon fiber (ROY)
- 20-inch front and 21-inch rear visible carbon fiber (ROZ)
- 20-inch front and 21-inch rear visible carbon fiber wheel with Red stripe (STZ)
It’s worth noting that the ROY, ROZ and STZ wheels are also available on the 2024 Corvette Z06, and are all offered for different prices at $11,995, $13,995 and $15,500, respectively. Interestingly, these three carbon fiber wheels were also subject to a price hike of $2,000 back in October 2023.
As a reminder, the Corvette E-Ray stands as the first production-spec Vette to feature a hybrid powertrain and eAWD system. To that end, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine from the C8 Stingray, which produces 495 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque, is complimented by a 1.9 kWh battery and front-mounted electric motor, which itself develops a maximum of 160 horsepower and 125 pound-feet of torque. All told, this combination gives the electrified C8 E-Ray a combined output of 655 horsepower, enabling it to sprint to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds and making it the quickest production-spec Corvette to date.
Interestingly, the E-Ray doesn’t boast Ultium battery and Ultium Drive motor technologies, as it was under development before General Motors began heavily investing into electric vehicle tech.
Under the body panels, all Chevy Corvette variants – including the C8 Stingray and C8 Z06 – ride on the GM Y2 platform, while production takes place at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.

Wheels are nice but when will GM start to seriously build E-Rays ? 0 to 3 a day isn’t enough to meet demand.
The delay in output of the E-Ray makes you wonder if there is a manufacturing problem in Bowling Green… the only way for them to end the suspected problem is to show they can produce the E-Ray
I don’t know what planet you guys have been on but the carbon fiber wheels have been available all the time. It’s the 5 spoke
aluminum wheels that have been in short supply.
Great the wheels are available! What should we put them on because you can’t get the Eray. Been in the GM order bank since last September and not even accepted by GM yet. I think they have only been building 5 or 6 a day and then some days none.
I’m not a fan of black or almost black wheels, but apparently I’m in the minority.
Very valid points by all of u. Just keep telling yourself it will be worth the wait, no matter what C8 you’re waiting for, it will be amazing.
Myself, I took my CF wheels and Cup2Rs off and use a set of Forged aluminum wheels with the S4s. I like them better for everyday use. Hope those of u waiting for ur cars get them soon.
The C8 is a great car. I sold my C7 and then ordered a C8. I was able to buy the car at sticker, but had to wait 18 months before it was delivered. I will never do that again. I’m older and running out of time. If GM can’t build and have cars ready for purchase when I want it, then I’ll find something else next time.
