Boasting new styling, new technology, an overhauled interior, and an updated lineup of safety features, the 2025 Cadillac CT5 ushers in the mid-cycle refresh that was originally expected for the 2024 model year. A comprehensive list of updates and changes, including the retirement of a trim level, marks the debut of the luxury sedan’s 2025 model year.
Now, GM Authority is highlighting the nine different exterior paint colors offered on the 2025 Cadillac CT5, all of which are available on both of the vehicle’s two remaining non-V-Series trim levels:
The full palette of nine paint colors is offered for the Premium Luxury and Sport trims of the 2025 Cadillac CT5. The sedan dropped one paint color previously available on the 2024 model year, namely Midnight Steel Metallic (color code GXU), while the 2025 model gets two new paint options including Deep Space Metallic (color code GAI) and Typhoon Metallic (color code GBW) as indirect replacements.
Out of the nine available colors, the two basic achromatic colors – Black Raven (GBA) and Summit White (GAZ) – are offered at no extra charge on both trim levels. All of the remaining colors are extra-charge options, priced at either $625 or $1,225 depending on the paint.

Starting MSRP ranges up to $51,990 for the Sport trim equipped with all-wheel drive. These prices include a destination freight charge of $1,395.
The refreshed 2025 Cadillac CT5 gets an assortment of new tech, including a huge, all-new, curving 33-inch-diagonal LED color touchscreen offering 9K resolution and a user interface that can be customized to the owner’s preferences. Another new standard feature for 2025 is the GM Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assist system.
Plentiful advanced safety features are now standard on the CT5 as well, including Blind Zone Steering Assist (RPO code UKI), Driver Attention Assist (ULM), Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking (UKT), Traffic Sign Recognition (UVX) and Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking (CTB), among others.
As previously noted, the Luxury trim was dropped for the refreshed 2025 model year. For motivation, the sedan continues to offer two powerplants, namely the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, as well as the twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 LGY gasoline engine.
The Cadillac CT5 rides on the GM Alpha 2 platform, with production taking place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.

3 blacks, 2 whites, dark grey, dark red, dark green and dark blue? Who is making these choices at GM!?!?!?! At least there’s no baby snot green or bile yellow. So the only updates for ’25 are sad color choices, a busy grille, more screens and Google?
Looks like the 2022-2024’s just went up in value! Congrats to anyone who owns one!
So is that deep space metallic that has been shown in all the previous articles? And the one pictured here just under the pricing chart? It has an interesting steel blue tone to it.
What happened to the Good Old Days when car companies offered 8 +/- colors maybe 2 or 3 of them might be a special upcharge?
