With the introduction of all types of off-road-focused pickups these days, the ability to take a truck on and off the beaten path appears to be an important capability for prospective buyers. Of course, tires play an enormous role in this circumstance, so with that in mind, BFGoodrich has introduced a new tire, the All-Terrain T/A K03.
Stating to have developed the new rubber from experience in Baja racing, BFGoodrich claims that the All-Terrain T/A K03 is engineered to endure, and benefits from a bevy of features, including:
- Optimized footprint:
- Evenly distributes stress for long and uniform wear both on- and off-road
- All-terrain tread compound:
- Designed for longevity both on and off road
- Full-depth locking 3D sipes:
- Increases tread block stability for even wear
- Updated serrated shoulder design and mud bars:
- Improves mud and snow traction
- Interlocking tread:
- Maximizes handing both on and off road
- Advanced deflection
- Deflects protruding objects from snagging & splitting the sidewall
As one may expect, the All-Terrain T/A K03 is available in sizes that fit the Chevy Silverado 1500, Chevy Silverado HD, GMC Sierra 1500 and GMC Sierra HD pickups. More specifically, the Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 can run 265/70R17 and 275/70R18 tire sizes, while the two HD trucks can utilize 275/70R18 and 275/65R20 tire sizes.

I have had these tires since December when I took delivery of my ’24 3500. I have 10k miles on them now and I’m very happy with them. I’ve had a total of 5 sets of the K02s on other trucks with great performance/wear. These new ones are just as great, but with slight enhancements that really work. They have more traction in the mud, snow, and most noticeable, wet/rainy roads. I rotate my tires every 5k-7k with oil changes and feel these ones are going to last at least 65k, even on this heavy beast that rolls them.
