Power reaches the wheels via a standard Tremec-supplied six-speed manual transmission, though the GM 10-speed automatic (RPO code MHX) priced at $2,275 is optionally available. The model does not offer all-wheel drive, with only rear-wheel drive featured.
All Cadillac CT5 variants are supported by the GM Alpha 2 platform, while the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan is the vehicle’s production site. The upcoming 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is expected to debut a mid-cycle refresh, a change it shares with other refreshed 2025 Cadillac CT5 trims.
