As GM Authority reported back in March 2023, the 2023 calendar year marks the 20th anniversary of the V-Series sub-brand. As such, General Motors has been releasing Cadillac V-Series products and features to celebrate 20 years of Caddy performance, and now, the 2024 Cadillac CT5-V and 2024 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing will feature extra anniversary-related content for the new model year.
Standard on both the CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing variants for the 2024 model year, there are two additional elements intended to celebrate the V-Series’ 20th anniversary, including:
- 20th Anniversary grille header decal
- Unique instrument cluster wake-up animation
It’s worth noting that the Cadillac Escalade-V as well as the Cadillac CT4-V and the CT4-V Blackwing will also receive the 20th anniversary treatment for the 2024 model year.
As a reminder, the two performance-oriented models of Cadillac’s luxury sedan feature a few updates for the 2024 model year, including a CT5-V Blackwing-exclusive Red Accent package, a CT5-V-exclusive Red Accent package, and four new paint colors for both V-Series vehicles.
In regard to the specific paint colors available, they are as follows (color code in parentheses):
- Cyber Yellow Metallic (GCP)
- Velocity Red (G7C)
- Coastal Blue Metallic (GJV)
- Black Diamond Tricoat (GLK)
- Argent Silver Metallic (GXD)
- Black Raven (GBA)
- Midnight Steel Metallic (GXN)
- Radiant Red Tintcoat (GNT)
- Summit White (GAZ)
Under the hood, the CT5-V is powered by the turbocharged 3.0L V6 LGY gasoline engine, rated at 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque, while the CT5-V Blackwing features the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine, rated at 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque.
Transmission options for both models consist of the GM 10-speed automatic transmission, while the CT5-V Blackwing is available with a six-speed manual transmission.
In regard to structure, the Cadillac CT5 rides on the GM Alpha 2 platform. Meanwhile, production takes place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan for all markets except for China, where the luxury sedan is manufactured at the GM Cadillac Jinqiao plant in Shanghai.
Notably, production of the U.S.-spec 2024 CT5 kicked off in July 2023.

I like the CT-5 but not that ugly Ford light blue!
That’s a polarizing color for sure (no pun intended).
Brilliant…write an article about 2024 Cadillacs and use a discontinued color from prior model years for the lead photo.
Careful. I made a similar statement this morning and the thought crime moderators deleted my comment. This place is turning into Jack Dorsey era Twitter.
I believe Cadillac is hurting CT5-V sales by not offering a stronger engine like the naturally aspirated 6.2 from the Camaro or the 3.6 from the CT4-V Black wing. I wish I had a V8.
They do offer it. In the Blackwing
I said NATURALLY ASPIRATED. The BW is SC.
Does anyone know the part number for the 2024 Cadillac CT5 V 20 Anniversary Grille Header Decal
